Mission: Chasing The I-16 Type 29

 

Goal

• Earn 50,000 XP
• Destroy 150 enemy planes

 

Reward

• Tier IV Soviet Multirole Fighter, Polikarpov I-16 Type 29
• Hangar Slot
• Camouflage
• Emblem
• Noseart

 

Conditions

• Once per account

That armament looks rather weak, but all in the nose like Yaks. Yaks are my best planes as well so I may like it.

Yep, pretty much looks like your typical under-gunned, highly maneuverable premium plane.  They can be fun for kicks and sometimes you can surprise the heck out of your enemy.  Just keep it in the hangar and bring it out on occasion to surprise the competition.  Good for credits, but does not look like an OP killer to run the battle.

Racked up a good 60-70 kills last night... including 3 aces... then realized it wasn't on til today -.-. Is it base XP or does it count boosted XP?

Ah so like WoWS then. Darnit, have a couple of Birthday planes. X3+x2= like 10 battles max, probably more like 6-8, if it wasn't base.

At least there's no tier limitations, so you can farm kill in low tier and farm EXP from high tier...

That's my plan. Recently rebought the Buffalo, and the HE 112. T4 is great. Sees T3 bots. Highest WR tier as well for me. Heck, I did well in the Buff but not the 112 or 109 even before bots. Just gonna farm em.
