My brother just got a Logitech Freedom 2.4 from a garage sale for a dollar and after just trying it out today I must say it is much better than the Logitech Attack 3 that I have. It has much more convenient button placement and a twist stick rudder which is not featured on the Attack 3. I did some practicing in the training room against one beginner bot and found myself able to do well in the P-40. I was wondering if you guys think we got a good stick for a bargain and if their are any good planes to practice the Joystick in. I'm feeling the P-40 and the Spit I. I still have some configuration tweaking to do and the stick is uncalibrated. Otherwise, I like much better than the Attack 3.

I never heard of that joystick, but it seems like you enjoy it and that is what matters. Can't beat the price. I use the 3d pro myself.

The Freedom 2.4 is just a wireless version of the 3d Pro. I've had the 2.4 since BF2 came out, never used it much in that game, this one, or any other.
