Just thought it might be a good idea to have an official record of the day-by-day event outcomes for all to see.  Will update as needed.

 

Any help with screenshots/scores before the event ends each night would be appreciated, thanks -- just post here and I'll link to it.

I sorry gentlemen, but you are badly mistaken. As per Support, Axis won on day one and more than likely also won all of the other encounters fought to date.

What happened to the 5% increase after the loss.  instead 100 points that do absolutely nothing.  it's a joke i tell ya a joke.

Will this show WG that Japanese planes need some sort of  buff?

It's not just a 5% increase, it's supposed to be the score differential plus 5% for each consecutive loss that side has had.

The event is good in principle, they just messed up the handicapping.  

The time limit does suck for some people, but by the same token, it does get more concurrent players online.

The new line more than over-compensates for the existing line, believe me.  

Dreaming of better days.  When this game had full matches, fiery dogfights, and hope for the future.

Most players in game are flying IL's, therefore the chances of the Allies winning are greater.
 
Not many are flying German GA. It's always HF and Heavies.
 
More real players playing on one side = greater results

Easiest way to fix this imbalance is to have the game do a 50/50 random "coin flip" for every player as far as picking axis or allies each day. The reason why Allies keep winning is because 90% of the server is picking allies upon logging in.

I played axis each night now. 0-5 as I predicted.
Last 2 nights didn't get enough to open 2 crates.
Talked to another guy and he said the same thing.
 
Was fun. > Like I said WAS fun. Not like this though.

I'd say that the advantage for reinforced side is also experimental, and it is as malfunctioning as hangar changing...



WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...
I am deaf, silent, and fly with unrealistic controls. Do not count on me to carry - my back's already broken from overweight.

I love playing axis, all the turds flying Russian GA on Allies = Massive quantities of xp for tanks.


We're talking 4 - 15k a game depending on rewards.

 

Most of our games last night were 6-8  Human GAA vs 3 or 4 Human Pilots on axis. The human GAA on Allies would kill our bot GAA, and then continue to farm until they were killed, never going to hide for the win. I have to say this event is working, GAA that don't hide = the best.

Not participating in the event but what am I missing here ?  What about all the stories of OP German heavies shredding everything ?

Your chances of unlocking IJA aircraft via crates is currently greater by playing Allies because a win = double crates.  There is currently no incentive to play Axis -- unless you want to have nothing to do with crates, and instead prefer to wait it out and progress the standard way in about 3 weeks.

About sums it up.

 

Everyone in the event is playing Allies Russian GA. No one is flying any planes. It's just games full of GAA vs teams without them. For me it's a total poop shoot push in constantly winning; but, apparently everyone else on axis is having a hard time beating people. Plus you have clans counting in in certain tiers playing 10 humans vs 3, and naturally focusing the three humans out first.

 

The event is broken, poorly thought out, and overall a failure; but, it's another "git free stuff" give away for those who can remotely kill anything.

 

I imagine if I ever played for more than 45 minutes getting 2 or 3 boxes wouldn't be hard to do, and if you play allies that means 4 to 6 boxes. WG stated the team with the least amount of people would be given bonus points to compensate at the end of the event, and consecutive wins would be compensated by bonus points for the losing side. We haven't seen any of that, and I believe last night Allies won by 100000 whatever the points are called.
