Patch notes?...... inquiring minds want to know

It's about time...

WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...
I am deaf, silent, and fly with unrealistic controls. Do not count on me to carry - my back's already broken from overweight.

Thanks for the link Dsembr.

I found the following to be interesting:

Bots

Now bots will track the flight path of their allies flying next to them and stop using forward-firing weapons if there is the possibility of hitting an allied aircraft with friendly fire.

In battles with a high number of bots on the teams, the bots will start to search for the enemy sooner after the start of the battle.

Bots will now try to fly at the optimum altitude for their aircraft and will boost less frequently outside of engagements.s

To me the one highlighted in green goes back to an earlier post about herding bots into the sun, etc.  To me, this means the bots might be more inclined to hey-diddle-diddle, straight up the middle, which is more my style nowadays in higher tier, 1 v 1 (human) battles. Not that I will be directly in the middle if you are inclined to shoot me down, but still, all that  5 minute delay with player dorking around with moving in slowly downwind and out of sight* might be a thing of the past.

"Changed the settings responsible for how bots choose which aircraft to use. Bots will now choose researchable aircraft more often and will select Premium and bonus aircraft less frequently."

Almost makes it sound like bots are deciding on their own planes to take.

meh...the fun i had here has been thoroughly dismembered, mangled and left to die. It lays on the ground slowly fading as its lifeblood seeps out..

"Improved Near-Ground Flight System

Modified the flight-system algorithms for ultra low altitude flying to make carrying out an assault easier. It will now be easier to keep aircraft close to the ground."

No need to pretend we are flying planes anymore.  Even the human planes are flown by the server.   Near-ground flight is the last test of who knows how to fly their aircraft.  Bring it back.  Stop "Improving" it.

I'm always excited by WG's announcements "In battles with a high number of bots on the teams ....", how is high number defined ? 5, 6, 7 or more ?

Is the way how we get information part of the game ?

The update is fun to play ,and the new hanger looks great. :playing: But on the down side you have to wait for the new battles:unsure:

Guess the down time is so the pilots can serf   lol,

But the bots seem better no one sided blow outs (one side getting a kill but team wiped out ), but also note EU/RU have higher populations so less bots.

the new Asian tree

and we are on the wrong "limb"  lol but you can earn some AC in the Allies vs Axis battles

An insane number of the new paint schemes are missing.  :-p  But confrontation looks fun.
