Hey all,

I used to be able to hit A on my keyboard to move my aircraft slightly left, while remaining totally horizontal. Same with D, but right.

Now when I hit A/D, it rolls my aircraft, but it doesn't actually move left or right.

Any idea how I get it back to how it was before?

Thanks all!

(I am using mouse and keyboard)

Why on earth would you want to use a/d for anything other than roll? If you want to yaw slightly just move the mouse. The M/KB controls are designed to use the keyboard for major movements and the mouse for fine control. Anything more than that and you have to rely on the various automatic "assists" which fly your plane for you very inefficiently.

Bind yaw to the Q-E keys, directly above A-D. You will get better results.

This. You can change any key input to whatever you want to use so that it's most efficient for you.

I do this same exact thing.  It makes yo-yos easy to do.

do you have a joystick and rudder setup? Since most of us don't, we use mouse and keyboard or we use a joystick. I'm pretty sure flying a real ww2 fighter would be harder in real life compared to in game.
