I've been watching some youtube videos on this game and stuff...just looking at high tier gamplay and whatnot, and in one of the videos, the player had his camera settings different then mine...I will attempt to explain.

Currently, when I'm flying my plane, my view is above the plane, and always level to the ground. If I fly upside down, I see the bottom side of my plane.

In the video I watched (Sorry I forgot what it was, I just remember this aspect), the camera was fixed above the plane, so when the player flew upside down, the surrounding terrain (mountains, ground, etc.) appeared upside down, and the player could only see the top of his airplane.

How is this adjusted?

Thanks.

Quite possibly the video creator was recording from a replay and had enabled the free look camera, allowing them to choose and stick with a particular angle as the battle played out.

If you could provide a link to the video in question we could answer your query with more certainty.

On Settings = change the camera view from "on horizon" to "on aircraft"

I personally use "Free Camera", but "On Aircraft" is much better than "On Horizon". I'd recommend going into a training room and trying out some different combinations. Also, for the control input priority setting, try setting that to "Both" if you haven't already. Giving either the KB or mouse priority over the other can cause your plane to stop responding when you're trying to do more complex maneuvers.

When playing with a joystick, it automatically locks on the back of the plane. The mouse has a similar view, but that view plays awkward. The best view with mouse play is free camera.

Welcome. I suggest going into a training room and messing with the camera settings.
