Since the new patch 1.9.5.3 there's been more and more jitter lag where your computer freezes up randomly, and you see your plane in a postion where it is not flying (incorrect directional vector, you're flying downwards but your plane is twisting upwards and rolling) Then you find yourself in the ground.

Anyone else seeing this?

It's not my computer I'm running i7 and 12gb ram with a 980 GTX; Latest drivers.

There have been lag reports of varying degrees.  Submit a ticket to support.

Here is something I posted in bugs section... not sure if its your issue at hand.  I also run an i7, older nVidia card, but plenty of horse power according to the published recommended specifications.

I also still experience it at times, without overclocking my card... regardless of times played; but as losttwo points out, it does not happen as much early morning.

Hope it helps.

I agree. I thought it was me when I upgraded to windows 10. I play late/early at the same times as lost two and I had the same issues on rare occasion. I've had the game straight up freeze.

That reminds me. I did have 1 instance where my GA froze in mid air for a few seconds while the battle continued. then it time warped to its proper position only to lawndart.

I think you were in that match with me. I never did send in a ticket for that.

Has not happened since then.

Ever since the latest patch my screen freezes for about 1-2 seconds at least 2 or 3 times every battle.  I looked at the logs for performance monitor and it does not show any spikes in processor or memory during those times.  I have uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, cleared cache, turned off antivirus and still freezing.

Wow...that must be incredibly frustrating. I haven't had freezing happen, but sometimes it does hang for a half-second or so, sort of like it did just before the rubberbanding would start. Thankfully it only lasts maybe .5 of a second, then everything shifts back to normal. Happens maybe 1 battle out of every 15 or so.

WG: update your hardware :)

Adrien Osinski

Dear death2019,

Thank you for contacting World of Warplanes support.

It appears your issue may be because your system does not meet our minimum requirements. As more advanced graphics are introduced to the game, it is less likely that older systems will be able to play the game.

Minimum requirements for World of Warplanes are:

  • Operating system: Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista, Windows 7 or 8
  • Processor (CPU): Intel Core 2 Duo or higher
  • Memory(RAM): 2 GB
  • Videocard: Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT, AMD Radeon HD 4670, or Intel HD 4000 (shader 3.0, 256 Mb VRAM)
  • Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible
  • Free Hard Drive Space: 19 Gb (recommended — 30 Gb)
  • Internet connection speed: 256 Kbps

More details can be seen here: http://worldofwarplanes.com/en/content/docs/update/

The following aspects of your system are below our specifications:

Graphics Dedicated Memory: 0 MB

As a result, we cannot guarantee your game will perform correctly.

Despite this, many players are able to play with less powerful systems, and there may be some steps you can take to improve your performance.

You may want to install a program such as Razer Game Booster to try and boost performance and streamline processing for gaming:http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html

A general system cleanup, using a program like CCleaner, could help as well:http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

Other then that, there is little we can recommend. You won't be able to fully enjoy World of Warplanes unless you upgrade the hardware in your system. We are sorry we can't provide a superior resolution.

Good luck getting into the game, and if you do get in, or access World of Warplanes on another system, don't hesitate to contact us again.

Best Regards,

Adrien Osinski
