Silly me spent more money on the dead dying decrepit rotting corpse of a game. Snagged the J8M. It was on my list and it is on sale this month.

13 battles in. 69% win. 2.4 kills per. I think I'm going to like this one!

The problem is I can't aim those guns worth anything! Any tips on how to get better with the aim? This is almost too much plane for me! I retired my J7W1 and put that pilot with 5 skill points in this. I have the first tier of engine guru and first tier of marksman allotted. For equipment I'm running reflector sight, lightweight airframe, and improved covering.

Tips welcome, please.

Don't shoot until you're at about 450m - and try to stall people before shooting them.

Cheers!

Yeah stop spending money on the game is the best I can do. I hope that's good enough for you.

If you learn it's tricks is deffiently very

powerful and fun, if I've lost a couple

ill sometimes dust off the j8m for a much

easier win.  The trick as Georgepatton

said is close engagement, also more importantly

Smart control of your boost, always leave enough

to escape the engagement.  Boost makes the plane

so the radiator equipment is a must.  The variety

from the unique play style alone makes it worth it

for me.  Despite all the trolling by some on the

topic if you enjoy the game and put time into it, then

then put the odd dollar in and support the game

Finished up my first day with this at 15 wins, 6 losses. 71% win. 2.4 kills per. Not a bad plane at all.

I did learn quickly about close range engagement. She can rip up just about anything in one pass that isn't a GA.

On thing I wish they would change is the stupid drum sound for the T8 30's. It's annoying.

Stack accuracy. Use Falcon Strike if you have the spare points. Engine guru and engine tuning are nice, but the boost is all the speed you need. Obvious candidate for radiator. Never go down with less than 70% boost
