There has been some ones that I have run into tonight

Hurricane (whatever mod it is - ran into a IID with the 20mm Hispanos)

I would like to put forth for consideration

Hawker Tempest

Hawker Typhoon

Hawker Sea Fury (another one with counter rotating props)

Actually it is the Hurricane IID with the 40 mm Orelikons. I wondered about if they had made a mistake, but yes there was a test of 40 mm guns on a Hurricane, but I guess that they stuck with the 20mm, I am thinking of what a terror that the Boomerang and Seafang would be with those type of calibers. Put more armour plating on your ILs because it will be can opener time with those.

I'd love to get an I-15bis DM. Either that or the Hawker Hurricane IID.

I have the Hurricane IID, I'd rather have the Hurricane Ia,

There was a 20mm armed Hurricane, WoWP chose to go with the version with 2 40mm and 2 303.

The plane was an attempt to create an anti-tank aircraft, problem was the standard 8 .303 or 4 20mm armed Hurricanes when armed with bombs or rockets were better at ground support and tank killing than the 40mm variant.

They really should re-classify the Hurricane IID as a Ground Attack Aircraft.

DICTA BOELCKE for WoWP
    1. Try to secure the upper hand before attacking.
    2. Always continue with an attack you have begun
    3. Open fire only at close range, and then only when the opponent is squarely in your sights
    4. You should always try to keep your eye on your opponent, and never let yourself be deceived by ruses
    5. In any type of attack, it is essential to assail your opponent from behind
    6. If your opponent dives on you, do not try run away from his attack, but fly to meet it
    7. When over the enemy's lines, always remember your own line of retreat
    8. It is better to attack in groups of four or six. Avoid two aircraft attacking the same opponent

The most wanted premium is the super secret plane that crayola has.

I won a Hurricane two years ago during the summer event. I won it with the gold tokens and the Vegas style slot machines (loved that and they should bring it back).

Anyone here mention the FW.56 Stosser?

This plane was king of sealclubbing in beta, but it's damage got incredibly nerfed when game went live.

I would wish for that Hurri D. I have often thought of how fun it would be to herpa derp in the second-worst tier 5 in the game!

I have the Stosser. Compared to other tier 2s, poor altitude performance, mediocre speed and mediocre maneuverability. The guns have a good rate of fire and decent accuracy, but can't make up for the other deficiencies. Neat collector's item and little more.

Uh, last time I played the stosser the maneuverability was extremely high.

I don't know what it was like before, but the turn rate now is 10.8 seconds. That is almost as bad as the Demon (10.9s). It means it will rarely out turn any tier 2 biplane fighter except for the Ar 68. It turns better than the other monoplane fighters, but there are only a few of those at tier 2 anyways.

In game Prem I want.

The Meteor.

A Prem plane I want to see?

De Havilland DH.100 Vampire Mk.I single seat jet fighter.

There was a Gloster Gladiator that was field modified with additional 303's and was used over Malta as a bomber interceptor.

Which if that slow [edited]thing actually caught up to you, you really need to find another line of work.

You would probably love the Meteor. I don't fly it much, becayuse it's tricky to use right, but when flown by someone who is good, it can be devastating.

its got such a strange style, personally i love it. Horizontal BnZ almost heavy like, but can still ruin the day of a light fighter not paying attention.

In the current meta the 20mm is enough of reason to fly it.

Yes it does fly sort of like a heavy. Nice guns.

I was surprised when I first found out that it wasn't a heavy. Its a large plane with twin engines after all. For that matter, I actually think all the twin engine aircraft would fit more properly in the heavy branch (some rebalancing required obviously).

It's also one of the only 2 jets at tier 7...unless I am forgetting a plane?

If you go into the meteor expecting a 262 at tier 7, you will be dissapointed.

I'd like to see a Hurricane Ia with 8x 303s instead of the 40mm cannons the IID comes with.

edit:  just saw this. Should have read the rest of the replies before I posted....

That would be a good plane. The much hated M20 has 8x.303 gun arrangement, but it does the job. There recently

was an interview done with Saburo Sakai on War Thunder and they listed the following Japanese aircraft in the article:

The A5M and the Ki-27; the D3A and the Ki-51; the J1N Gekko and the Ki-45 Donryu; the G4M and the Ki-49; the N1K-J Shiden and the Ki-84 Hayate. A7M Reppu

The A7M would be fitted with the Mitsubishi engine which was deemed better than the Nakajamia one,
