Loving mine, well worth the grind. I don't have equipment on it yet, but it seems to fly like a Seafang. Meaning Corsair + agility - boost climb. If you are wise with your trigger finger it can hit like a truck. Unlike the Mustang I, which i also like, it is well suited to fast hit-and-run attacks. HorB&Z with options.

hmm...not sure i'll ever fly mine...too many rammers, headhunters, bad team mates.. and no rockets to defend myself

Not much fun when you know any of these things will happen if you sport a winning record

Yes, and you are the only one experiencing any of this; so, by all means, you should keep avoiding the game. I mean you can't risk those stats (otherwise you might have to buy a ruler and measure it yourself). For the rest of the community, all of whom, apparently have losing records and are never headhunted, we'll just wallow in our gratitude that we'll never be as good as you nor have to experience such atrocities as you face.

We'll keep you in our thoughts.

What zapper and gang are trying to say is that you do poorly at flying airplanes. It's not your fault you aren't good at it, and I can recommend any number of dual heavy or dual GA combos to you to help your win rate.

To be fair, there are a lot of people that only stick to what they are good at in order to have fun.

Some people are gud at stomping newbs at low tier, some people are only gud at GA, some people are only gud at HF.  Some people are gud at stomping newbs at low tier in a GA or HF.

"To each, his own" that's my motto.... That and "be friendly and help as much as possible"

By the way.  Reported for touching my plane in a private spot on Sunday when you were on the red team!

Kind of.  Nothing serious...yet.  I will be fighting with the DRAC's team in the clan wars.  This clan is geared more towards tanks at the moment.

I don't recall. I didn't hear you object, which means you liked it.

I guess I'll respond since no one else did.

I enjoy waffles and pancakes simultaneously for breakfast. The waffles should be on the bottom of the stack, and the air pockets keep the pancake from getting soggy with syrup. There is something immensely satisfying about eating a bite that contains both waffles and pancakes.

Agree.  It's a very decent plane especially for a reward plane.  It plays an awful lot like a Seafang for the most part, especially in that it has fairly strong cannon with a fairly short burn time, and lacks the speed and altitude of many planes at its tier.  It also needs to played along the lines of the hybrid/"medium fighter" role, and can be made work if played properly much like the Seafang or most of the Corsair series.

The Seafang has better altitude and burst boost burst capability for chasing heavies though and I'd consider it stronger at its tier, but that stands to reason given that it's a premium plane that's available for actual purchase and not a freebie.  And as multiroles the Seafang and Corsairs are get better results against ground targets even though they have the same 20mm cannon, because apparently that makes sense to our benevolent game design overlords.  :sceptic:

And it's certainly worlds better than many previous reward planes like the Hurricane IID or the Mosquito 26.

This past weekend I went to my folks' place and made waffles with my nephew on the Death Star waffle iron he got this Xmas.  Those things are deliciously OP.

I never considered commingling waffles and pancakes on the same plate though; I'll have to store that idea away for future reference.

Please keep this thread on Topic. (I have the Vader Waffle iron)

I do not have the new Mustang yet, I would love to give it a fly. :D

How many of you have the plane?

I have it. It's just like a Mustang. :)

Guns heat up rather quick, so use them judiciously, close range to good effect. Short bursts.

1/2-1 sec burst was the recommended IRL if I recall correctly.
DICTA BOELCKE for WoWP
    1. Try to secure the upper hand before attacking.
    2. Always continue with an attack you have begun
    3. Open fire only at close range, and then only when the opponent is squarely in your sights
    4. You should always try to keep your eye on your opponent, and never let yourself be deceived by ruses
    5. In any type of attack, it is essential to assail your opponent from behind
    6. If your opponent dives on you, do not try run away from his attack, but fly to meet it
    7. When over the enemy's lines, always remember your own line of retreat
    8. It is better to attack in groups of four or six. Avoid two aircraft attacking the same opponent

I have it, haven't flown it except once when I got disconnected at the beginning of the match then came back to "spectator mode".

-I'd say that's right on the money for the game version too. At 300m a few short bursts will flame any LF. I've also shot down a couple t6 HFs in 1 pass, firing range started at 500m.

The 1A seems to hold energy fairly well in the vertical plane, but it could be that I'm getting better at it. I need to fly my P-51A more and compare.

I'd tell you how great my Mustang iA is, but I wasn't able to buy my last completion assistance certificate till 11 am today. 3 hours after the event ended.

Meanwhile, Wargaming Support is attempting to tell me there is no way for me to buy $4 worth of gold or something on the prem shop, take that away and give me my Mustang iA.

Just like I don't get any of my Closed Beta planes, my I-15 BIS, or even my Closed Beta Tester tags on the forum. Its ok though, all my planes in hangar tell the truth

Spoiler
