Since we're talking about great Drac flyers and I mean real pilots...Kodranger (miss ya buddy) who was a Wild Weasel in a F4 Phantom dodging radar guided gun emplacements over Vietnam, hair raising stuff for sure...

I sat mesmerized listening to all his recounting of his younger days pretty much being a flying can of bait. I believe now he's flying the A-380 for a large commercial carrier on overseas runs.

Phil I don't understand why you're so bitter when Purdue speaks of guys that have influenced him in this game, many Dracs that don't play anymore have had a large effect on our community, for the better I should add, I know I learned a lot from them as well, and they are still missed.

The last person I helped was Dusty, and TBH the only reason I helped him was because Auto pushed him onto us in the clan. Then it turned out he was smart AF and a great guy, so we kinda took off knowledge dumping on him, helped that he had some natural talent.

Outside of him though, I've never bothered with rando's because it's always been like "EAD I don't know you." Since I started to play. I'm not sure if this thread is implying this is a new thing that's happening recent but new players have been like this for at least 2 years.

I just say:   GG well done mate.... regardless

now my contact list freezes the game if I miss-click on it

Does anyone remember the  BF 109B  B&Z 3-man flight era?

More like before flights were limited to two, which was a long time ago now.

Playing against bots for months can seem like years

On a plus side they are far superior to 3rd guy and just under the one who tries hard but requires enhancement

The days seem longer when you get nothing but 3rd guys and dim-witted bots thanks to WG MM (plucks a gray hair)

However the sun does shine on a dog's behind on occasion and you could be gifted someone who has their head on straight

In the last 2 weeks I got Sir Zero and Dusty..... so for at least 2 battles I could receive flashbacks of teamwork outside of the flight :honoring:

Check your patchnotes.  It was a lot longer than that.

Fighters did strafe and bomb ground targets in WWII but there was almost always an AA suppression portion that happened before the strafing if it was an AA heavy environment.

Yeah, I believe I still have PM's from you lookign for more information. I was always willing to help those who sought after it, not so much to impose my generosity on others. If I come back one day I'll have to ask you for advice :D

I think a lot of people who quit this game should give it another go ... maybe after a long break, sometimes that's all you need and it seems fun again.

If you try it again and hate it, uninstalling once more is only a button-press away.

Particularly because there is not a better game of this type, period. So why cut our noses off to spite our face? Makes no sense.
