You've been aware for literally years now.  Patience has long been exhausted.

Spam finds its way into almost every forum, it's part of being on the internet. What is blood pressure raising is the stupidly long time, several hours, it takes to get rid of this garbage here when it is gone from the WoT & WoWS forums in minutes. Maybe new posters should have their posts approved for the first few and limited on what sub forums they are able to post in.

gotta say I agree with BrushWolf, at least that would make bots useless since they would be blocked by the huge amount of posts pending approval.

i thought all accounts had to have a minimum number of battles before posting? is this why WG can tout 14 bazillion registered wowp users?

New posters would only need to be approved for a few, five maybe posts and only allow posting in other than the newcomers forum until they have say ten matches in. That would limit the damage the bots could do.

Having had to go to court as a plaintiff, just getting on the court's schedule can take months, and a resolution may take years. It may not be WG's fault, and they may have just now told us- not necessarily just started legal action.

It's simple. We know that spam happens, it is a part of the internet. The problem with WoWP is thst it stays up for 5-8 hours or longer, whilst the WoT and WoWS forums have the spam deleted within 20 minutes of being reported... NO MATTER what time of day it is.

Huh?  Bringing legal action against spammers is generally close to impossible because they're typically overseas.  It's the cluster of obvious similar spam accounts, and they way they get left up for hours and hours at a stretch that has gotten pretty obnoxious.  This is something they could do something about easily if they wanted to.

Same spammer still going strong.

A forum is waaaay easier to code than a game. If WG can't code the forum to stop this, what are the odds they'll ever fix the game?

SMH.

That would end the spam right there. Great idea. WG, I think FreeFOXMIKE accepts checks or cash. Pay the man and implement his suggestion.

Yeah, seeing that the people WG is currently paying to handle this can't seem to do their jobs properly

How long will today's spam last?

I've said the exact same thing before. They have the ability to stop it right now; apparently WGNA doesn't care that much.
