I did write about He-219, it should be in the game. The speed and service ceiling is not as good as Me 410, but armament is a lot better and maneuverability should be better also.

Dornier Do-335 would be nice. And yes there were some Italian planes, and some French. But I don't think they were famous.

Sorry about that, egikov. Didn't see your piece on the Uhu, My bad.

Apart from the Savioa-Marchetti SM79 "Sparviero", which is that very recognizable three-engined bomber, the Italians had some aircraft that were very, very recognizable, one of which was the Macchi C.200 Saetta, open cockpit, radial engine, but underpowered and underarmed.

This model evolved into the beautiful Macchi C.202 Folgore

You are all master debaters on this topic but you are all missing the obvious one.

WG Give us back the Me 609.  Seriously.  That is the plane from Closed Beta that was truly amazing that has been kept from us.

Seeing an Italian line implemented in this game is the thing I want most after Clan wars, team battles and other such things.  And despite claims to otherwise, they have more than enough planes for several full lines if you include 'napkin planes'  which WG has never been shy about, and which I don't mind myself.

Please apply dirt, rocks and trees to your aircraft sparingly.

I have this theory that loudly ticking clocks can be wound with massive blunt objects.  By striking the clock with great force the energy would transfer into the gears, not unlike winding it.   I plan on testing this someday.

That has been my wish now that I almost lost hope for Clan Wars in WoWP. A line of Italian planes would make me install the game again, and you're right, they have planes to fill the tiers of at least the lines of fighters and heavies.

Be careful what you wish for.  Italian planes would not be very competitive under the current game meta. Historically speaking, compared with their contemporaries they were undergunned, underpowered (Folgore notwithstanding) and unreliable.

How about the 109G-6 with a Jumo 211 or the 109G-2 with a RR Merlin 500 engine.

DICTA BOELCKE for WoWP
    1. Try to secure the upper hand before attacking.
    2. Always continue with an attack you have begun
    3. Open fire only at close range, and then only when the opponent is squarely in your sights
    4. You should always try to keep your eye on your opponent, and never let yourself be deceived by ruses
    5. In any type of attack, it is essential to assail your opponent from behind
    6. If your opponent dives on you, do not try run away from his attack, but fly to meet it
    7. When over the enemy's lines, always remember your own line of retreat
    8. It is better to attack in groups of four or six. Avoid two aircraft attacking the same opponent

The Grumman F6F Hellcat really needs to be added.  It was the US major Naval plane.   How is it not on this list?    Also the F-82 Twin Mustang would be a great addition.

How about the MC.202 Folgore? It's a good aircraft, nice to fly (experience from other games). We should put some Italian planes in this game. :honoring:

Nobody mentioned the Horten 229... I'm really sad now... We need more batwings in this game.

A-1D Skyraider, Martin Mauler, Westland Wyvern.  I'd like to try a torpedo attack.

Hawker Hunter

i know late 40's early 50s but really it fits on all counts subsonic, unguided guns and rockets. i think it is the plane i wanted to fly the most after the 262.

XP-67 Moonbat maybe?  6 x 37mm in a single seat, twin engine HD.

But to the OP, even just as premium counterpart options, an Italian line would be interesting.  Especially for the frills factor of how nice some of their planes look.

I know this is a necro, but no sense in making a new version.

Seeing as China is a Premium only tree, I would love a Premium Only Finland tree. You could throw in some premium planes from various factions: Captured Yaks and La's, a B-239 model of the Buffalo, a Fokker D. XXI, French MS. 406's, Fiat G.50's, even Hawk 75's, 109s, and others. Basically- in WoWS you can get premium versions of some ships you like- for instance the Perth, Belfast, Atago, and more. So I would like a way to fly my favorite planes, but as premiums where I can more silver! A little to differentiate. B-239 for instance might only have 3x12.7's and one 7.7.

The (not so) amazing Chokai is back! And he's hit all his personal goals sans one! Seriously though, nice to be back, looks like he game is improving. I continue to try to recruit new people.

Almost two years past. Most of the list is the same.

Two planes in red were added. One plane in yellow was added to the wrong tech tree (Japanese, instead of Germans). P-39 probably will not be non- premium ever.

De Havilland Vampire, Hawker Tempest, Hawker Typhoon, Heinkel He 219, Heinkel He 162,  F6F Hellcat, F-82 Twin Mustang, P-61 Black Widow, Yak-25, Petlyakov Pe-3, P-39 (not premium), P-63 Kingcobra, P-80 Shooting Star, Mitsubishi J2m, Nakajima Ki-43, Kawanishi N1K.

There are maybe others.

Heinkel He 111

How can we not have this plane in the game???

!!!   ???   !!!   ???

I keep checking the tech-tree,  convinced I'm just not seeing it.
