Since I started playing this game a few weeks ago, off and on have experienced a problem that never came up before when I played this game regularly.

Every now and then, my controls get "stuck" in one position. Obviously, it can easily cause a crash or some other unintended consequence, so I am very much interested in tracking down the source of the problem.

Here are some of the symptoms experienced:

1. When I fire the guns (mouse control), the gun fire may get "stuck" in the fire position causing guns to over heat. Pressing the fire button repeatedly when this happens will stop the firing, but it also results in an audible "beep" of some kind but guns won't fire.

2. I use a Razer gaming keypad for flight control (along with a mouse). From time to time, a flight control may get stuck in one position resulting in a crash or some other undesired consequence. Repeated tapping on a key might correct the problem, or perhaps it's just a matter of time and tapping on a key is actually doing nothing at all, I don't know.

In either case, this never happened to me before when I played WoWP, and it doesn't happen when I am playing any other game, so I don't suspect it is a hardware related problem. Do any of you have any ideas what it might be?

Nevermind....

I looked back at some replays...I am going from a ping of 1, to 100% packet loss. Packet loss is definitely the problem.

if the pilot's good, see, I mean, if he's really..sharp, he can barrel that baby in so low [he spreads his arms like wings and laughs],

you oughtta see it sometime, it's a sight. A big plane like a '52. VRROOM! There's jet exhaust, fryin' chickens in the barnyard.

I too get packet loss in game and I also use a Razer Mouse and Keyboard. I know it has nothing to do with the mouse or keyboard, but it happens quite often. It will start out 10% and go to 100% and back down again. Usually it is to late by the time there is no packet loss. Talk about frustrating !!!!!

i thought it was the better half re-watching vampire diaries(i know that makes it worse), but it could actually be server side because i get the same thing.

just a heads up. All video replays show a ping of 1. It might be the razer software or drivers, etc. Next time that happens look to see if you have packet loss.

Thanks for that heads-up. Didn't know about the replays showing a "1" on ping. But the video definitely shows the "red" 100% packet loss at the moment I lost control.

As a matter of fact, I have since been watching (every now and then) to see what the average ping is running in game, and it's somewhere around 30 - 40. Can't say that's a hard average, but that's what it's been when I took the time to look.

Hey I think you might want to look at some old replays and see if it is related to your Ping.

Also, I think we should all use Legos to make more of our points here.
