Every time I fly on this map I try extra hard to stay alive, knowing I'm our only hope if things go south.
It's not the terrain modeling though, or at least it's not just the terrain modeling. The first XP-58 flew into the side of the terrain from 3600m up. He made a series of bad control decision until he had completely overflown the plane's ability to recover from that dive and flew into the terrain at 800 km/h.
The next two crashed in such rapid succession that there's no telling why.
