I had the honor of taking care of GEN Benjamin O Davis Jr. at Walter Reed Army Medical Center just before he passed away in 2002. I actually had just left work off my shift when he moved on an hour later. I would have liked to speak with him but unfortunately he was suffering from Alzheimer's disease and could not communicate. I recently was at the National WWII Museum in New Orleans and saw his display in the African-American section, very inspiring. As a Army medic working on the Eisenhower Executive Nursing Ward 72 at Walter Reed I had the honor of meeting many such famous individuals such as GEN Davis, was the best job I have ever had!

Wow, great story! Alzheimer's is terrible, I took care of my grandfather who had it. I'm sure that General Davis knew what you did for him. :honoring:

I don't see a sale for US planes. P-51A still costs 887000. And the sale supposed to be from Feb 22 to Feb 29, 30%.

Are premiums included amongst these?

Please apply dirt, rocks and trees to your aircraft sparingly.

I have this theory that loudly ticking clocks can be wound with massive blunt objects.  By striking the clock with great force the energy would transfer into the gears, not unlike winding it.   I plan on testing this someday.

There is a bit of irony that the mission requires aces when only one of them got ace.

So what rule is going to change after the contest ends this week? If I had known last weeks was supposed to actually be cumulative, I'd have kept working at it and may have finished in the top 5. This weeks contest is definitely rigged so those same people will win again. I got one ace so far....but it was in an FW 190 A5

OTH in the lower tiers, where this contest would actually have been fun I've gotten something like 30.

It's Black History month. I myself would have preferred to see a whole month of missions dedicated to them, but I'm not the one in charge.
