I know this is a silly question but, when do we get the Red Baron's Fokker Tri-wing or the Camel Tri-wing in game?

Just another excuse for the clubbers to play low tiers & beat up on the new players that we are trying to keep. How about a contest for tiers 8,9 & 10 for a change?

True,

But blame it on WG they keep doing this so "Everyone" has a chance at the prize but who here really thinks a pub has a chance.

So screw it if WG wants me to club the snot out of new players so be it I'll beat em till the white meat shows............

Those were WWI aircraft. In this game Tier I planes are circa early 20's.

Actually a bigger problem with these kinds of contests is they favor people that have no life and seem to be on 24/7.

Actually mid to late 1920's but either way they are much more developed, engines in particular, than the planes of WWI. The SPAD 13 that Eddie Rickenbacker flew topped out just over 130 MPH where the tier 1 P12 cruises in the mid 140's and tops out in a dive around 250 MPH and it is all horsepower, aerodynamically the P-12 is only marginally better than the SPAD.

Edit: Maybe for fairness these kinds of contests that the damage or whatever is being measured should be based on the best of a set number of daily matches.

Do you really want to create an event that encourages me to seal club?

I find it funny how a company roots out all the unintelligent players so they can ignore anything players post on the forums.

First hold a contest at a low tier for ALL to be involved in.

Second see all the threads talking about seal clubbing and complaining about seal clubbing.

If a company condones it, even encourages it, then is it really seal clubbing or just what how you want to label it.

So th3 player base labels it seal clubbing...I label it competitive playing.

That will never happen, they want to encourage new players. But they forget that they are only offering fresh meat.

If you really think it is competitive playing tiers 1-3 against people with less than 100 games I almost feel sorry for you.

Seriously....who even proof reads these contests??

How hard is it to make the wording clear?

Of course it is Red I'm in one now and as I said earlier I'm beating the snot out of the pubs as per WG directions for this contest but the real question is as Scip put is this air to air dmg air to grd dmg or a total of both or the highest dmg in a single battle because if it is then really the plane everyone should be in is a Ths3............

And as a side note although I don't really condone this I have to admit all the ace's and gorovet's are nice but all those poor poor nubs just more meat for the grinder......

I ran into you today while in my FW-57 and it was not pretty. My gunner got a couple of chunks of you but your shooting was top notch.

This is seal clubbing pure and simple but this also lets the new players see how their planes are supposed to be flown.

True sometimes getting the tar smacked out of ya is a beautiful thing if you take the time to watch and learn I remember when I first started and facing great pilots or planes two tiers above made me the pilot I am today and I have a lot of you great veteran pilots to thank for that......:honoring:

It is hard to meet veterans on-line. Up to 1.4 there were so many of them. I watched and learned (stole) after being killed, watched replays up to 5-6 times just to see what these great players are able to do and how they approach, or evade, when to engage/disengage, how to attack IL with a rear gunner and so on so on.

What can you learn now from players (bots)?

Still no answer from GP about contest clarification.

TSh-2 is also not a Bi-plane. The GA are all Mono-wing planes

The contest is for Bi- planes which are any of the planes that have 2 wings such as the P-12, F2F, P-23, F3F

The Ar-197 is the highest tier BI-plane available.
