I have not tested 1.9 , but would like to make a suggestion.

I have weapons fire group enabled for my Mig9, i  use  Right Mouse button (RMB) to fire only the 23mm cannons to give time for the 37mm to cool down and when im a long distance away not to fire the big cannon unnecessarily,  and then LMB to fire 23 + 37mm , but then i fly my yak 7 the 37mm becomes the RMB.

if this could be the same , not changing between planes it would be awesome

If you've played WoT, you would recognize it as the track repair sound. On the WoWP CT, it seems that this sound is used when your critically damaged components (red) automatically repair to just damaged (yellow). For example, when your wing, engine, tail, pilot, etc is critically damaged and showing red, if you wait a little while, it will naturally heal back to moderately damaged and appear yellow. That is when you hear the repair sound (which to me sounds like tracks getting repaired in tanks).

I agree that it is the sound when your track gets repaired in WOT and it's a little cheesy.  I like the new sounds for weapons both when they are being fired and when you are being fired upon. I find it distracting to see the damaged areas popping up next to the plane in the middle of mauling it. I think if that feature stays, people will watch that instead trying to keep an eye on what's going on around them.

I had to laugh when a bot asked me if I wanted to join a flight.

i almost spat out my beer last night, when i was 1 vs 3 high alt bots. the bots were chatting like a bunch of real people then one of them on my team wrote "don't distract the human"  gold would rather not have bots but that was gold.

Credit gain needs to be increased, killing 3 full health T10 planes and winning only gives 18k base credits, with premium that's still just 27k,the must-need ap ammo + repairs require 25k, and more consumable costs. If this stays like this in live 1.9, high tiers will be totally unplayable. Look into this now please, before its too late.

GhostPrime:  I have completed all missions in Round #1 and in Round #2.

When are the Test Participant medals awarded and where will they be displayed?

Thank you.

I agree with  diddel_wotan.  With the addition of gold to buy better belts of ammunition you have created a pay to win game.  Not all of us are diehard gamers who can spend a lot of money to win.  Those of us who play only a few battles a day will never be as good as those who spend hours a day playing and needing gold to buy more advanced ammo will only put us at a greater disadvantage.  I'm not complaining about being an easy kill for those players but I don't care for having the odds stacked against me by needing gold.

Regarding the gold belts, they basically have the same bonus offset as the "AP" rounds, but instead of an even split between fire and crit, you can get all crit small fire or all fire small crit, or bonus damage only to ground target damage. the net bonus is pretty much the same, 3% damage net above the new standard. I have been playing the crap out of the 1.9 test, and the generous discounts and bonuses afford the chance to try out all those goodies for yourself.

So far I collected 4 tier x planes, all good stuff, won't see em in the live game for a long time, but other things I've checked out are much closer, so I have a better road map. The bots chattering is pretty funny stuff, but that is gonna get stale pretty quick if it isn't maintained for fresh taunts and lines. I've seen most if not all of the current messages at this point.

The bot skill levels, and the MM use of "killer bots" unevenly distributed in matches is annoying, or worse, it's all killer bots, and both humans die in the first 2 minutes, then get to watch the bots muck about taunting each other for the next 10 minutes, or go work on another plane. A lot of the matches are kinda close to balanced, but many are just a turkey shoot, and where it's nice to have a convincing win, a predestined loss or win is not as much fun as a chance to really effect the outcome.

The wider selection of equipment choices is a real game changer as well, I'm pretty happy with those changes, as you really can shape the planes performance to highlight your play style as it relates to that plane, and how you use it.

I haven't really investigated the consumables enough yet, so that will be next.

I couldn't answer the poll as they didn't have enough options. The ammo issue is crap. I can play with standard ammo in 1.8 and earlier patches and not have a problem killing planes. In the ct I have to use ap which will be overpriced in the real server from what I can tell. The ping may be a part of it as the ping is 250ish. Not sure if that is causing my issues of not causing enough damage even when right behind the plane less than 300 meters. I've been getting better,  but it seems like the guns overheat too quickly. Once again not sure if that's the patch or the ping, or combo.

Bots- well it sucks that we had to come to using bots in regular matches since the devs didn't pay attention to our feedback with 1.5 and 1.6. CT server.  The bots definitely need some work. Definitely better than the current meta in bot battle. Some are really good, and others really are horrible. I've seen some bots lawn dart at the end when it was me and a bot vs a person. They literally turned from their current direction and ran into a mountain. I was able to win,  but really? Are bots matched with human skill? I went down to lower tiers to check stuff out as well. I was the only human on my side for the 15 battles I had in tier 1-3. I was able to defeat them, but new people would have no chance against them. If some of the bots are matched to the humans playing, I could see why they were somewhat challenging. If they are not,  then it will be too much for me people. A suggestion. Make bots easier at lower tiers,  and have them progressively get better at higher tiers. Bots should assist in the game,  but not be the deciding factor. The bots just rush to the battle. By the time im done climbing,  either my bots are slaughtered, or the enemy teams bots are slaughtered. I know the na doesn't have a skill based mm, but can the bots be evenly distributed by skill so that the bots on each team are evenly matched instead of one teams bots getting slaughtered? One thing that was done well was some of the chatting between bots and other bots and humans.

Sounds- seriously,  do the sounds need to be remade as horrible as possible each patch? Seriously, I don't need sounds that come from a cartoon like the splat sounds when critical hits occur, or stuff like that. Can WG just stick with the same sounds? Or at least give the option to turn down specific sounds? I dont like the added sounds in the hangar.

Xp and credits- I forgot to look at the battle result screen to see how much I was bringing in before the ct bonus. I'll report back on that.

The new consumables, they make the game more like Mario cart. I also don't like the fact that you can't put 2 items that are alike. I know that's not new,  but still a dislike.

The gold ammo because that is real money will only be for the most extreme min/maxers with deep pockets and if it ever happens CW. Otherwise the free standard ammo which is equivalent to the current incendiary and credit AP which is equivalent to API are all that is needed.

I don't like having gold only ammo and it should be available for credits as the top gold ammo is now, it is a step backwards.
