After testing for a while its apparent the game needs a bit better detection of the thumb stick movement and button recognition.

The configuration works fine. The problem is the games recognition of activated axis'. Basically its the codes ability to recognize what is being done with the controller and process it. The game isnt built as an Xbox game so the controls and recognition of the controller are probably lacking. But this can be addressed by making the code for the controller more robust.

Yeah the reaction time on my controller when turning/aiming is horrible.

Makes it so difficult to aim up a target.

Is there any way around this or do we have to wait for a patch?

I've noticed there is a lot of input lag with this controller.  I love playing with my 360 controller, but the input lag is killing me. :(

And it is on actual movement of things on the aircraft, not just time it takes for the aircraft to actually move.

The 360 controller is not to bad, but it would be nice to get to the buttons without getting off the stick...

At the moment, I have it set up like my RC stuff.  Throttle and rudder on left stick, aileron and elevator on the right stick.  The left and right shoulder buttons fire groups one and two.

Has anyone managed to get the triggers to work?

the triggers are actually an axis so you have to change it in the far right hand column where you changed the other control surfaces

I know it's not an actual genuine 360 pad, however the Afterglow Green LED AX.1 Wired Controller For Xbox 360 does it work just the same as the normal 360 pad. I tried to map buttons but could only do the axis for the thumbsticks and left and right triggers and nothing for the Dpad, buttons or shoulder buttons.

so I've got my wired Xbox controller working rather well (imo)after messing with re-mapping the keys and sensitivity but for some reason the mic isn't even recognized by the game. The mic works in Skype, team-speak 3 and lots of other games but doesn't show in the drop-down menu of WoWP. If any of you found a way to get it to work for WoWP I sure would love to know how.

For those of you that have wireless Xbox controllers that want to use them you need a wireless gaming receiver. You can get them for around $10.00 (US) here's a link to one on Amazon: http://www.amazon.co...0/dp/B003WFYZCY

if your using wireless try resetting the usb adapter while your handset is on.

for wired i think you have go to the control panel (if your using windows) and then select the game controller icon an make sure that it is setup there.
