It was not too long after War Cache that WG put the new premium Tier VIII's for sale on the RU server. Nice one for them. However the RU WoWP pilots so far don't think its a good deal.

Update: Boy are the RU players pissed off over the price. Their complaint is over the Dollar exchange for the Ruble

While our plane shop still stays closed they offer this and the Boomer and two other rare planes...alrighty then. Makes no sense to me it's just money people won't be able spend here...more a loss to them. Maybe in some warped way they feel they are punishing us but more like doing us a favor I think.
