All of a sudden my Logitech G430 headset isn't detected any more using the USB connector.

I've checked the USB ports they are fine.

I uninstalled and re-installed the software but same result.

Changing to other USB slots didn't help.

When I plug the headset into an USB slot I can see that Windows 7 is installing a default driver.

But the Logitech Software doesn't find the headset.

The headset itself is ok when I use the headset connectors instead of the USB slot.

Couldn't find a solution for me in Google.

Anyone else having experienced the same issue with this headset ?

After having spent an hour testing my computer before I posted the question I kept trying and reinstalled the G430 firmware update.

That solved the problem. Why, I don't know.

Maybe someone else run into to the same problem and might find my posting helpful.

Pretty sure Logitech has a utility that will let you re-sync the headset to the receiver.  I've had this happen before with one of my logitech headsets.  Powers on, but never finds the receiver on the PC end.
