Sometimes a pilot must weight the cost of repairing an aircraft versus survival.

There comes a time in any match when the crucial decision needs to be made

" How can i win this match "

Sometimes the win must outweigh the need for personal gain, there are other team mates counting on a win.

No one cares how much XP or credits you earn only that you win.

To many times I see people trying to destroy everything in sight and giving up the win.

Sometimes I think people don't understand, that a win gives both an XP and a credit boost that outweighs surviving and getting extra GT's.

Yup, there is a time to stop firing and go dark.

Considering the fact that there were 4/5 red in your immediate vicinity blocking any further progress toward their gt's, and that your team was falling apart, and that you were up by 50 Sup points, I'd have turned and run too. I wouldn't have had any self-debate about it. -lol -

Common sense.

...look Mommy, there's an airplane up in the sky...

That pancake did a great job in taking all the "aggro" and lured the enemy away from your IL. I believe he is the unsung hero. But GG all the same. Nice use of tactics.

You would think that, had an IL2(t) on my team yesterday go YOLO at the end of the game when we were up by 100 supremacy points and the only enemy was a quarter health heavy. He decided it was a good opportunity to finish him off, resulting in him dying and us losing the game literally as the supremacy meter was about to tick full for the win.

Well Done Lost!! +1. Good choice of sounds also. I remember the original Adrian Cronauer. I was in country at the time. Robin Williams was one of a kind.

Very good primer on how to act at the appropriate time. Outstanding!

Have never researched the IL-20. Stopped at the IL-10, skipped the IL-8.

It appears the plane handles much better than I thought it could. You did some good flying there at low altitude.

Shemp! But I think Shepbur could fill the place of 'Shep'? (OK, he's not negative, but it sounds good!)

Cheers!
