Well maybe you should have said this was a PACKAGE of various mods already combined in your initial post that would have easily explained the issue.

Most people don't like nor use packages,  they prefer to have them all individually. Choice is important, no one plays nor wants the exact same setup you have.

I guess you misunderstand the part where he called it the Pigeon PACK?

What else would that PACK be if not a PACKAGE??

What mods are in this jumbo collaboration of files? Very poorly organized and presented:( I highly suggest you get with DrSinister and Hootorez and learn their organizational skills.

Seriously, you are going to post a response like this to a member of the community that is trying to help others and improve their game play.

Then get into a tete a tete of words.

By the way thank you for your contribution to the game that we so easily play for free.

A hand full of people do so much FREE work to help others with a FREE game.

It is a shame when any one has the nerve to troll their post with negativity.

great work!

I've been only on intermittently since my laptop overheats while I job hunt for more money to purchase a desktop.

I had no idea there were any mods for this at all, so thank you P_K (and any other developers)

I am sure to be trying some of these out once I get a new rig!!

Are there any mods in development to make the clouds Chunkier/more obvious (dark globs maybe)? As a below average player and easy victim to instagibs from planes 2 tier higher I would like to see the clouds that I can use for cover more clearly.

That's not a valid excuse to act like a child and throw a tantrum. Your not the only one who served and sustained injuries. I was in combat over 1500 days as a Marine and have sustained injuries and PTSD and all the lovely side effects of combat.  I do not however use it as an excuse to justify my actions. Yes what happened to you was unfortunate, but it could have been a lot worse. You could be dead or paralyzed.

I'll be the better man and skip the **** you and just say have an amazing day!

Hmm most veterans I know would have supported P_K regardless of what happened or what was said.  Then again, most veterans I know are actual combat veterans who know and value the brotherhood, their CAR, and the service of others, and dont proclaim their service or attempt to quantify their supposed "1500" days in combat.  Over 4 years as a Marine in combat with the Corps doing six month tours and 12 months dwell time?.......at least you capitalized Marine.... I guess the word PACKAGE was lost on you.  Have a great day!!

By the way, thank you very much for your time and efforts to make some great mods P_K.  Most of us appreciate your time and hard work.

When did I state I was a Marine for four years? I don't remember doing that, you just assumed that...

Feel free to PM me mechvet so we can compare DD214's.

Don't bother posting again I'm done with the forum trolls and this game.

PS: Pk I am truly sorry for your injuries and I hope you find a feasible way to handle the PTSD I know you have. Always remember it can be better but it can always be worse as well... Best of luck!

" I was in combat over 1500 days as a Marine and have sustained injuries and PTSD and all the lovely side effects of combat"

Those are your words, not mine.  If you divide 1500 days by 365, which is the number of days in a year, you get 4.1 years.....its called math, not assumption.

Compare 214s?  Any day sweetheart, any day.

The only advantage no cloud mod would have, is not crashng into a mountain on asian map where mountains can be covered by clouds....

The camera mod is bugged, sorry i tried, there is a missing variable someplace.  I have Re-Exported the current one and trying to find it.  I will let you modder's know when i find the issue.

If anybody finds it can you let me know.

8 lines of code was added to the new Camera XML file.

Highlighted in grey in the screenshot below is the new line of code that is added in each Camera Section.

There is more then just the 8 lines of code, the formatting is changed slightly.  Took me about 4 days of playing to actually get the camera mod working with a decent FOV, as it would appear to work for awhile, then randomly black screen on the aircraft comparison part prior to battle.

PK has access to my working cam mod already as all mods are loaded into our Clan site, but, I expect their will be a few buggy ones flying around until we get to grips with all the changes.  Interestingly, I have to still keep the aircraft_camera_presets file in the RES folder as well as one in RES_MODS folder to get this to work.  Copied the layout into the OneDrive link below:

Trying yours now. The res_mods zipped folder has no files in it.

edit: I fly in first person and your cam mod for first is a bit too zoomed for me. I wanted to look at your code, but met the same frustration I do trying to open the xml files after any new patch. The programs I have open these xml files as odd characters with bad formatting. Totally unreadable or modifiable. What program do you use to both edit the originals and re-save them as xmls?

There is only 8 lines of code that have been added from the 1.4.1 to 1.5.0.

If you look at my screenshot using Notepad++ 1.5.0 is on the left, 1.4.1 is on the right, at the very bottom of Notepad++ it shows how many lines of code are in each XML (I have it highlighted in a red box).  1.5.0 now has 3714 lines of code whereas 1.4.1 had 3706 lines of code, which that equals to 8 new lines of code.

Spoiler

Also I just scoured line for line in Notepad++ between the 1.5.0 and 1.4.1 and the formatting has not changed at all.

Well besides all that, just to be safe that is why I move all my changes to the new version of file, been doing that way back when I used to edit the joystick.xml before the curves came into game.  That is why I feel that you should not add the lines of code into the old file and just re-write your modded code from the old file to the new file.

open the spoiler on page one to see them.

Stable Camera Mod included in the Pigeon Pak Basic and extended, not the hryunomod one.

I have been getting request's for the Pigeon Pak's to not include the camera MOD.

I am working on it and will have it up sometime SOON.

just go to c:\games\world_of_warplanes\res_mods\1.5.0\scripts\db\

then delete the (aircraft_camera_presets.xml) to get the original back
