Pigeon Kickers Mod World Website Link

Version = 4

Sub-Version = 3

Mod Types = 18

Mod Selections = 58

WoWp Ver 1.9.9.0 is ready to be released for the update tonight.

The most comprehensive and largest Mod-pack installer for WoWp out there, Anywhere, even mars.

This mod-pack is about 530 Mb in size, so it may take some time for you to download.

Added to this Pak are ALL of Hawkeyededic's skins.

Skins by Austringerever and FreeFoxMike were also added, beautiful work by all of them.

The ModScrubber is designed to "Scrub" any folders used by all mods included in this mod-pack,

It greatly reduces errors while changing and/or switching the Mods that your game is setup with.

:coin: Enjoy your game.

------Coming soon To the Pigeon Pak------

Customization mod installer

This is a core update, and the base for all of the Pigeon Pak mod servers that will be coming online.

It gives you the end user the ability to add and remove sections (Pages) to the pigeon pak at will.

Add your own selections to a new installer page and upload that page to the ModSharing server.

Create your own installer with what is included already, and use only them.

It will allow you to add as many customized sections to the mod installer that you want to.

Other users will be able to add/remove these customized pages to their modpack installer at will.

You will also be able to get other users custom pages added to your installer.

Automatic Update Server

The update server will allow the Main Pigeon Pak program update any mods without needing to download another installer.

Download the pigeon pak once and be done with it.

Get custom mod install pages, or take them out.

ModSharing Server

The ModSharing server is to let modders that want to easily share their custom mods, or just grab up mods that others have created.

This will be integrated with the Update Server.

Lets see what other modders can do for the community, and get your mods shared around the world.

HryunoTuner

The new HryunoTuner will allow you to change the settings for HryunoMod without having to know how to read computer code.

It will allow you to do many things, including

  • changing radar location
  • Change radar size
  • HryunoMod colorized elements
  • Turn on/off stat elements
  • Create custom button messages
  • Change/Move any element that hryunomod places on the game screen.
  • Much, Much more.......

CameraTuner

The Camera Tuner will allow these things

  • Change the distance you are set back from your plane, from cockpit view out to 50 meters back
  • Change the distance you view the flight ABOVE your plane
  • Change the ANGLE and Distance for your Strafing Mode "Bombing Recticle"
  • Change the overall viewing angle from 25 Deg Minimum and out to 165 Deg Max (game now restricted to 55 Min to 100 Max)
  • Also, Much, Much more.....

Good work PK.

How do you make it so I don't get shot down?

Please be aware that there is a retical fix in there.

No I did not include the No-Clouds MOD, it was judged by WG as being unfair, and i agree with them.

IF anybody see's a questionable mod listed here, please tell me so it can be verified with WG, Thank You...

You need two windows open, world of warplanes, and the reticle fix file.

follow both paths down the ladder until you see where it is missing.

So for the reticle fix.

navigate to c:\games\world_of_warplanes\res_mods\1.4.1\  if you do not have a gui folder simply copy the one from the download there and create it.

If you have the gui folder, then keep going to where you see where it is missing. IE -- 1.4.1\gui\flash\  it goes into the flash folder.

Hope it helpes.

I will be on later tonight, stop by our ts and we can get ya fixed up.

BTW, if you just right click on your world of warplanes desktop icon, click on (open file location)

THEN open the downloaded mod that you want...

Those are the two FOLDERS that i was talking about.

simply follow the same directory path in both folders until you find where it is not loaded into the WoWp folder.

Maybe this time.....

I don't get this and can you provide the post on this as I have not seen it.

I use remove clouds because it helps with my FPS on my low end computer but that being said id like to know how its unfair since in actuality the clouds are still there my computer just does not render them enemy's still disappear in the clouds I just don't see the cloud and I cant reaquire them till they emerge from it and it has no effect on sighting the enemy.

In reality I would think using it puts someone at a disadvantage since when a enemy does enter the cloud and I cant see the cloud I really have no frame of reference where he might emerge since I cant see how dense the cloud is or its shape or its size.

Have added two custom camera settings, in the 1.4.1 folder.

first one is developed for heavy fighters

second is for Ground Pounders.

both of them have a downward looking (ALT) camera angle, as you zoom in with your mouse wheel it angles down as it zoom's in.

Reduced the twitchy camera effect when zoomed in.

Both have a narrower zoom area

I have tested both set-ups on the 1.5.0 test server with varying degrees of success and failure.  Still tweaking it, try it if you want to

No promises tho.

PK,

+1 for your timely action on these.

I tried the mod pack. Sounds were ok for the first battle, since removed. I was excited because you had a working camera mod. I figured I could simply mod yours to get my 1st person back. That didn't work, default camera overrode my tweaks to the joystick camera settings; so, I put my 1st person tweaks into all the options: normal, direct and joystick. Still got the default camera. So, I thought perhaps it's not reading the modded cam xml. I then renamed the aircraft_camera_presets.xml in the res\scripts\db folder and pasted in my 1st person only (for all 3 options) xml. The game loads fine but the camera is still the default 3rd person view. I have no idea how to get my 1st person back. Any modders got any ideas?

:amazed:

edit: D'oh! I should have read the "Read Me". Camera mod working now. :great:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
YOU MUST FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS FOR ANY CAMERA MOD TO WORK....
----------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------

Rename your original files, you may need a back up if you fuck it up...
Go into your world of warplanes RES folder,
c:\games\world_of_warplanes\res\scripts\db\
rename the file aircraft_camera_presets.xml to aircraft_camera_presets_old.xml
rename the file cacheddb.bin to cacheddb_old.bin

Ahh yes this is the same fix we has in 1.4 with the Cacheddb.bin, back in 1.4 we just deleted it.  For any modded XML files that Cachedbb.bin needs to be gone or renamed.

With the modded cameras the enemy direction arrows are now microscopic. Any workaround for that? or did I botch the install?

What mods are in this jumbo collaboration of files? Very poorly organized and presented:( I highly suggest you get with DrSinister and Hootorez and learn their organizational skills.

Hey You must have went into the 1.4.1 files, Well there's your problem......

Oh and just so nobody else does that stupid ass move again i have removed the 1.4.1 files.

I will get them in to the 1.5 folder as they are checked for operation.

The main folder has a read me,  like the person who commented on the way it was sorted DID NOT DO, please read it.

enjoy the mayhem, or the complete and utter ease of how you can put the MOD pak in.

Well maybe you should have said this was a PACKAGE of various mods already combined in your initial post that would have easily explained the issue.

Most people don't like nor use packages,  they prefer to have them all individually. Choice is important, no one plays nor wants the exact same setup you have.

WHY DID YOU NOT READ THE THING THAT SAYS READ_ME_NOW.TXT
