I'm trying to find out what the consensus is before I commit to getting one.  Feel free to add your opinions.

A bit of a tricky choice for me. I've wanted the Ki-88 for a while now because of its cannons and uniqueness, but the German spitfire is a spitfire! I can't deny a spitfire!

well I tried to vote....for some odd reason I couldn't...imagine that.

sooooo...I vote the xp50....prob the best choice for me in the bunch!   not big on guns...but it out turns everything else in its class.

and omg can it climb....or run...LOL

XP-50 is a lil beast. Fast and maneuverable, guns are actually quite good at close range ( and this bird corners tight enough to get you in close to just about anything). Climbs like a mountain goat.

 

If you like 2 engine heavies at all, you'll love this plane. If you arent used to a twin heavy, no worries...because the XP-50 doesnt really fly like a heavy.

P-39 for the looks and big gun. It helps if you can shoot the big gun well. If you can't, I could see a lot of rage happening. If you like the Yak-7/9 and you're good in them, you'll like the P-39.

I choose Ki-88 , because the Japanese tech tree is highly under represented.

I have the P-39. I like it (and I also love my Yak-7). It has great firepower, but it can't climb for anything. If you need to gain altitude in a hurry for some reason, you will be out of luck.

Got them all & luv them all, just wish I could fly them better. If restricted to just 1 I would go with big guns so russia or japan.

Ki-88 as it is the only one I've flown.  It's not bad and I think it will get better as I play it more.  Knocking a wing off a full-HP enemy now and then is a nice thing.

I have the P-39 and the XP-50, I haven't gotten the others yet.  I enjoy the P-39, it's a decent plane to fly, but I love the XP-50.  It's just an all around great plane.

Ki-88. The Japanese have the fewest aircraft available to them anyways and the Ki-88 seems like it would play very differently from the traditional playstyle for their planes.
