As long as it has buttons or if you move it, that tells the computer and can be plugged into your computer, you can use it in game.

First off, (you can imagine this in the classic "Dad voice") Remember that you agreed to keep quiet on what we're doing here, it's serious business and you will be held accountable.  

Yes you can say you've been picked, yes you can say it's a blast. Keep it there and you won't have any problems.

There are two important parts of being an Closed Beta Tester (AT) Flying is one, the other is ==>  You need to contribute via the forums.

A few suggestions to help with what you should do - and some stuff to help you not drive the devs and admins crazy.  

On the Forums

• Learn what the "SEARCH" function is, learn how to use it, and please do so.
  
• READ thru the posts
  
• Add your own posts (after you've searched to see if it's been brought up before)

• Feel free to ask questions, that's what we're all here for.
  
• Look over the different Forum Areas and place your posts in the correct one
  
• Remember that we're here to TEST the games capabilities and funtions not just play

In Game

• Familarize yourself with all of the features of the hangar
  
• Familarize yourself with all of the controls (manual in forum - use SEARCH)
  
• Use the "Chat" window
  
• Check the "Messages" window
  
• Don't whine in the chat window
  
• Fly all of the planes
  
• If somebody is running a test on something, respect what they're doing.  (Hint- They'll post it in the chat window)
  
• Use the Forum (you're here if you're reading this - NICE!)

Just got picked. I can't wait to get off work and start testing. Well, after I dig out my joystick and rudder pedals of course. Hopefully they will work. I've tried other flight sims that weren't rudder pedal freindly. See you in the wild blue yonder!

Yeah, I agree, but it would be nice to see some people actually HELP the game progress instead of whinge about the current state. Do that when the game's finished, not when it's still developing!  
But other then that part of the community, it's all helping eachother and WG make it a better game while shooting each other out of the sky.

I had the same problem as Amethyst - but it went away when I closed and opened the launcher again.   It's smart enough to figure out where it left off, so you don't have to download the whole thing again.

Very Impressed so far, graphics are nice, I like the soft targets and I absolutely love that you can see through the giants holes in the wings lol. I have had more fun watching these planes get obliterated than actually flying...

They should be made by tickets, however, you can also do it through the forums. A lot of people use the forums, so someone's sure to notice. But through tickets, WG are notified straight away. Personally, I do both, the forums allow you to warn other testers, the tickets make it easy for WG to learn.

WHOO-HOO!!! Thanks for accepting me! I've grown up with a real passion for WWII era aircraft (Supermarine Spitfire ftw!! ) and am really pleased to have the chance to contribute to what looks to be a very good simulation.

Can't wait to get in there and (try) to shoot some of you other Junior Birdmen down!
