Hey WoWP, do you think one day you will put modern fighters like migs and f-22s and such?

No.  What fun would that be firing missiles from way across the map without seeing your opponent?  This is about dog fights and close quarter combat.  Ain't gonna happen, as has been stated every time someone asks this same question.  Enjoy your early tiers and good luck progressing up the ladder!

Absolutely not. Look at our map sizes now. Now imagine double the speed and the ability to lock onto an enemy across the map with sidewinders that go 5 times faster than a diving Javelin. Not gonna be fun.

If you're implying we can expand the maps though, yeah right, the game engine for WoWP is significantly outdated, and so would have trouble handling the stress of larger maps.

Can you imagine how fast the games would be though?   After a 30 second pre-match countdown,  everyone takes five seconds to lock up an enemy on the other team, fires a missile and then all planes from both teams are destroyed within 20 seconds.

Rinse and repeat.

Sounds like a fun game mode for the players wjo currently go out, collide with someone,  drop to hangar,  and repeat.

More and more, playing a "modern fighter jet" means sitting back in an air-conditioned trailer in Nevada with 3 big-screen TVs and a mock-up cockpit around you, directing a drone half a world away.  The drone can turn far more drastically than anything designed to support a fragile human, so it could out-maneuver anything the enemy could put in the air.  But it doesn't really have to, because--as others have noted--engagements tend to be decided with missiles while the combattants are still 25-40 kilometers apart.

Oh, and chances are good that your shift ends while the battle is raging, so as soon as things quiet down enough for the hand-off, you're outta there to go have a beer with buds at the club while your relief takes over.

It's a different world ... the Baron von Richtoffen would not recognize it.  On the other hand ... it sounds (on the surface, at least) oddly similar to what many of us are doing in WoWP!  :teethhappy:
