I'm going ot have one Zero in my hangar. Is the Tier IV or V a better plane for its tier? Thanks!

If I had to keep just one, I would opt for the A6M1, versus its Tier 5 sibling. I find the T5 to only be slightly better, and up against a lot more competition.

A6M1 because it's speed isn't totally outmatched by everybody.

Ive got 4 in my hanger A6m1 A6m5 A7m and the ki-88   The A6m1 is by far my favorite, as it practically dominates its tier level.

Agreed, they're all good planes but the disparity between the Zeros and faster higher flying planes increases with tiers and it takes more skill and a bit of luck to succeed in V and VI.  You can still have lots of fun in them though if you play smart and don't end up on your own.

The is a signature.

There is nothing I would rather be flying in a furball more than an A6M or A7M. If I were forced to keep just one, it would be the A6M1. Have had many successful, fun flights in all of the Japanese line. The A6M1 ranks highest in all the aircraft I own for number of flights flown. Have likely shot down more aircraft with it than any other as well.

The A6M1 is the most OP for its tier compared to the planes that follow it. Keep it always.

Of the 2 I have, the A6M1 is my favorite - I just don't have the same luck with the A6M2.  The A6M2 pilot will move onto the A6M5 while the A6M1 will join my small 'permanent hangar' collection. :)
The game's largest rammer magnet - I always seem to attract enemy planes to my engine.

You definitely want to keep the A6M1 over the A6M2 if you are only going to keep one.

The M2 is basically the exact same plane, with a few more hitpoints (General HP pool; the wings and tail will snap off just as easily as the M1) and the possibility of running into Mustang Ds, 109 Gustavs, Zwillings, Hornets, and a bunch of other nasty things that carry guns that will disintegrate you in a moment.

The A6M1 occasionally has to deal with 109 Friedrichs and Me.410s.

The tier IV is the definite keeper here.

Keep the tier VI...

...if you are not going beyond that, the IV is better, as the V is basically IV that is up-tiered.

WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...
I am deaf, silent, and fly with unrealistic controls. Do not count on me to carry - my back's already broken from overweight.

Kid, it's all personal preference. Certain planes are better for certain people. I wouldn't exactly recommend asking others for which to keep, 'cause it will do you no good...just try out both and then choose which one YOU like more, then that's the one you want to keep. Although, be my guest if you wish to waste your time. Please message me if I am putting anything in an inaccurate light, or I am plainly (planely, lol) missing something. I'm here to help you out.

See you in the air pilots!:izmena:

If you see me flying, it will almost be very low to the ground, the ground is a very good place to be if you know how to fly down in the weeds for these reasons:

1. If an enemy DIVES on you, you can CHOP POWER, and with they have gained in the dive, they hopefully continue in your direction and overshoot and maybe even crash into the ground if you are flying a 3m (that's what i normally do for my defense)

2. If your aircraft likes low level flight (such as a Yak-7 or somethin') and you are up against a 109, you will perform much better down in the weeds because that is within your planes best performance altitude. Therefore, if you are alert, you will win especially in a turning fight since 109's don't like low level flight and they are not very agile especially for a fighter.

3. If you are up against a Japanese plane (like the A6M1 or A6M2) which also likes low level flight, make risky flight paths close to buildings, trees, mountains, hill, rock faces, and rivers. In this way (if you are skilled), they will crash into the ground if they continue to follow you through these dangerous manuevers.

If you think those are good ideas, go into a training room with tier I bots, and practice on different types of terrain, you will get the hang of it in no time!

Yeah, there is nothing wrong with the tier 5 but the 7.62mm machine guns just seem so weak at the tier especially when you think the times you really need good firepower is when shooting at a fairly well armored energy fighter that has just taken a pass on you. Not saying its bad but doesn't feel like a huge upgrade over the tier 4.

Keep the tire 4.  These paperboys are sitting ducks for BnZ planes that are just beginning to emerge circa tier 5.

A Flight buddy, Doobi and I had this discussion recently.

Our summary was that the Tier 5 is just so-so for its tier.

The Tier 4 rocks for its Tier.

Nothing wrong with the Tier 5 version, it is mediocre in comparison to competition.

But the Tier 4 version can dominate in its Tier.

That is what we came up with.

If you have to keep only one, I'd go tier 4, does as well as a tier 5 vs tier 5 and 6 aircraft, but more likely to be on tier where it can just slaughter if used right and doesn't get blind sided by anything with a cannon
