For those interested, it's 68,000XP to research the F7F from the F4U-1, and the P-38F is 15,000XP from the P-40.

Does this mean less effective or is this more for looks?

Generally, this is hot!

I don't feel the MK-103 needed an accuracy nerf though?

Edit: Oh wait, I had it confused with the low velocity 108. Yeah, I guess it won't hurt the 103s much.

There are no bombers in the game.

Finally, we got our lovely pancake back~

I can't help but notice though, how the Soviet, German and American trees have three lines, while the Japanese tree still only has one line. :hiding:

Hello all...

~~Physics & Balance Changes

~~The chance of ignition increased for all planes

~~The impact of bombing and rocket outboard weaponry on aircraft perfomance characteristics was reduced. Empty bomb carriers/rocket launchers have no effect on the perfomance now

While I know this will technically benefit all planes, including GA, just how many more nails can the GA plane's coffin hold...:sceptic:. The last patch made it easier for light fighters and heavy fighters to kill ground targets via strafing. Now they can swoop in and cherry pick the easy close ground targets and then be free and clear to go back to being a true fighter. The GA planes will have to travel that much farther and longer before they are able to contribute via a ground attack mode....

Now back to the happy part....American Heavy Fighters...:great:.

I'm assuming the P-38F has a small experience price because it branches off from the same tier?

EDIT: oops... I didn't see it told me right there in the picture

FFS.

Finally got my old, suspended RU account deleted (just never used it), and my test server account is STILL blocked.

Tickets in at NA and EU. REALLY wish I could get on a test server one of these days. Sigh.

What REALLY pisses me off is that they act like there's absolutely nothing they can do, like there's no one with access to their own damned data. Oh well. Here's hoping.

Nice, now I can enjoy jets again :D

I especially love the deep thunder sounds in lighthouse. The two new maps look amazing, I'm happy to see a low tier snow map (with gorgeous aurora australis and aurora borealis!) There's a lot of fancy flying with the new US planes, and as hilarious as the pancake looks it's deadly.

I hope each update brings a new map or two, I just can't wait for Heinkel bombers :D

Keep up the great work WG!

EDIT: Meant to mention: The new reworked lighting on all the maps looks great. It's a small touch but really changes the atmosphere for the better, good thinking!
