The first time I flew this plane was just amazing. It is insanely maneuverable and does a lot of damage and that was with stock equipment -- I feel like it is far superior to the other light planes I have flown, but keep in mind I've only been to tier 4. I can't help but get the feeling it is going to get rebalanced or "nerfed." I would like to keep this plane and its stats even if tier 3 becomes saturated with it :P

Does anyone else feel like it is slightly overpowered or is it balanced as it is? Maybe this plane isn't overpowered, but the other planes should get a buff in damage?

*edit*

I never use the search feature, but maybe now I should: I found another article shortly after writing this one about exactly the same thing:

My favorite plane(s)! Since it is a turn fighter I wouldn't expect it to see the nerf bat any time soon.

Like most highly agile planes,it suffers from the fatal flaw of little to no armor.Which kind of makes up for it's excellent maneuverability and firepower.Don't get me wrong though,it is one of my fav planes and still has a place in my hanger.

I like to fly it low, under the radar. Much similar to the Japanese line, a ninja type of fighter. It's one of the only tier 3's kept in my hangar for its consistent ability to take out enemies. Like someone else said, it does have its limitations, particular small hit points with weak climb/boost.

hey hey SpiderMine, I have that little bee" , got most of my "rocketeer's" on it. I won't sell it , when you learn how to ride it , it's a lot fun.

I kept the I-16(l.) but I like both. I use rockets on it, and it's deadly. I think it's an underestimated plane as well.

I have taken every line up through tier vi & have about 20 planes in my hangar, and I have said before that the only one that feels overpowered to me is the I-16(e).  Yes, it has weaknesses, but just play away from them and you will rack up the kills.
