This may have been asked and answered, but my search came up empty.

Just wondering why the is no P-47 or any of its variants in the game. I believe it was the USAAF's workhorse throughout the ETO from almost the very beginning of air ops. Later variants were also used for ground attack missions that would have shredded the less rugged P-51, according to my research.

The answer? Soon

As has been said before many, many times - give them time. You can't start with all planes modeled and balanced and ready to go - but the P-47 - among many others - will come in time.

I never said I was good.

USA needs GA too.

...which is who-knows-when, because this time is the P-38 and Pancake...

But who knows...?

WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...

There are many iconic planes that are missing. We just have to be patient.

There's a lot of meat on the bones for a Seversky-Republic line of fighters from Tier 3 to Tier 10 so I'd be very surprised if they aren't included soon since many of them are iconic American planes of the era.

The only other line(s) that seems more obvious is probably the British Hawkers or perhaps the Lockheeds mentioned above (though it would be made up with a lot of P-38s until the jet era).

The is a signature.

Douglas, Hawker, Lockheed, Republic, Junkers, Bell, Grumman... And many others that can make parts of trees.

As for lockheed, they will have a couple Lightnings (which is par for the course here) and their cap is the XF-90. Last seen, the Tigercat and Banshee fill between the two and there's nothing below - though I'd rather see the Banshee kept free for a McDonnell line and Lockheed does have a couple planes (Ventura, Hudson) that could act as lower tiers.

Lockheed is problematic because they charge a fee to use the p-38 probably more of their planes as well.

Hawker Fury > P.V.3 > Hurricane Mk.I > Hurricane Mk.II > Typhoon > Tempest > Sea Fury > Seahawk > Hunter - yes please.

Pretty sure WG can afford it - and according to "leaks," the Lightning is next to come anyways.
