hey hey pilots , shot_003.jpg  I'm loving this I-16(e) , it seems to move into the right place at the right time, almost like the movie "Firefox" I think a move and it's already doing it :medal: My next thing is ,do I go I-16(l) or the I-17? I have enough exp to get one of them with all the mods , any input from( I ) pilots would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

I prefer the I-17 over the I_16(l), mainly because of how disappointed I was after flying the I-16 early model.  The late model is not all that different but the competition is.  Most of your opponents significantly outclass you and there's not much you can do about it except grit your teeth and grind your way to the next plane.

I have personally enjoyed both the La and (light) Yak lines. The La's tend to get more firepower in earlier tiers than the (light) Yaks, but firepower evens out across the board in the later tiers (since they all seem to get 3 NR-23s in the end). I'd actually recommend doing both lines since the high tier jets share a lot of modules (engines and guns) that can make researching both of them a bit easier. You could always do each line one at a time, too.

If you're really digging the l-16(e) go ahead and get the l-16(l),it is my 2nd favorite TnBer in the game,it's a l-16(e)with two big cannons, which are devastating when you get on someone's tail.

I just get the feeling you would really love that plane. But remember they are fragile as hell, roll, roll, roll.Never let anyone stay on you for any length of time or you are toast, quick.

I love my I-16(L) personally. It's true you can't really compete with the big tier 4/5s but you don't have to. That plane can nearly out turn everything out there, including most biplanes even!

I just stay at low altitude and cream anything that gets chased down to my height. Just remember not to be part of the first wave when flying it. It's not an interceptor, it's a scavenger!

Absolutely this^^^,probably the perfect description of what this plane is best at.

The I-16 late model is truly a wonderful plane, but you'll want to take the I-17 branch of the Tech Tree. The problem with the I-16(l.) is that you get to loving the turn-n-burn light fighters, then the next plane you get is the LaGG-3. Plenty of Burn but a lot less Turn than what you were used to with previous aircraft in the line-up.
