So many people are using advanced computer programs to make cards 10x better than mine 

At least mine was made with hard work by hand

Hello all you amorous aviators! We didn't mean to keep you waiting on a reply when you've professed your Valentine's day love, but Cupid must've been withholding our mail because we just got in your submissions! And they are some absolutely incredible ones...without further ado, let's announce the winners!

 

1st place goes to area50one, who went all out. To begin with, before even getting to the card, the envelope is hand-painted in watercolors! Hearts-shaped clouds dot the sky as a fighter planes zoom above them:

The card inside was similarly painted with gorgeous amounts of detail, and reads, "With World of Warplanes..."

 

 

"...it was love at first flight!" Check out the 3D effect on the plane and the hearts; they're actually raised so they pop up when you open the card! Amazing work, area50one!

 

 

2nd place goes to Hellvor with this card that has a deceptively simple front:

 

 

Yet has a very nicely drawn interior, complete with plane firing bullets of love at us! 

 

 

You can see the individual bullets have things like "Kiss Me," "Hug Me," and "Be my Valentine" on them!

 

 

3rd place goes to skychick_got_u for this glittery card! (Seriously, this card exploded with glitter when taken out of the envelope, it was great)

 

 

The inside has planes circling the glittery heart around the World of Warplanes logo, also cut into a heart shape! You can tell a lot of time was spent cutting out these individual planes from multicolored construction paper. 

 

 

4th place goes to Komadant for his jet streaming across the clouds, leaving a trail of red, heart-shaped glitter!

 

 

5th place goes to gotanksandnavy for this cute popsicle stick plane, complete with lollipop bomb! (Which I am totally going to eat now that we've taken pictures of it)

 

 

The top of the wings say, "Happy Valentine's Day!" and the bottom reads, "Thanks for the fun!" Also, despite how carefully this plane was packaged in the box it was sent in, I regret to say that it was in pieces when it arrived! I hope I put it back together correctly! Nonetheless, you can really see gotanksandnavy had a lot of fun putting this thing together!

 

 

We're really feeling the love with everyone's submissions, and to reciprocate that affection we'll be sending out gold prizes to all our winners!

Congrats to the winners. Between work and the winter snow fall on the east coast in February I did not have the time to finish the project for this contest. It would have been nice because it was WWII pin-up girls. Tastefully done of course.
