It was the third time in flying the Yak-1 in matches this morning. If I did not get a win today for my doubles then this plane was going to wait until tomorrow. Then I got a tier VII match on the lighthouse map. Great!, here goes the third loss again. What magic can I do here?

I decided to head to base to cut off the GAAs in their attacks. It was there I found a wounded enemy P-51D and then finished him off. Then one by one all the other enemy planes started falling into place in being shot down. It was very strange match for me in as far as being successful.

I did not comprehend how significant the match was until it was over. I took out some heavy hitters. I received the Galland medal 2nd class which I was expecting a more for the Spitfire or the F4U-1, but a Yak-1? I guess honors comes at all tier levels. And thanks team for your help in allowing me to get this achievement.

Here is what I got from the match:

Good Job Flak,

One of the few games we didn't bump into each other!
