I found this on the web:

News story:

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/wwii-soldier-who-hid-in-jungle-for-29-years-dies-at-91/

I was astounded by the way Japanese soldiers in performing their loyalty by their last orders. I have heard of one soldier hiding in the jungle, but not two of them. I would like to hear this soldier’s story on the movie screen. There is a tale to be told.

Probably more like Milton Waddams in Office Space.

As I understand the biggest thing he had to face was war crimes once back in civilization. Because he was fighting the locals in completing his mission. I'm going to see if there is a book about this guy.

Incredible, it is amazing to hear of the absolute loyalty the Japanese soliders and serviceman had back then (and , having met a few on exchange still to this day). They have a profound sense of honor and duty that I wish more people could grasp and understand.

Very smart of the person and government to get his commanding officer to relay the orders, amazing story.
