The OPP has issued a travel warning due to snow storms and bad road conditions.

They suggest that anyone traveling in the current icy conditions should ensure that they have the following:

- Shovel
- Blankets or sleeping bag
- Extra winter clothing including coats, hat and gloves
- Water
- 24 hours worth of food
- Deicer
- Rock salt
- Flashlight with spare batteries
- Road flares or reflective triangles
- 20 litre gas can
- First aid kit
- Booster cables

I looked like an idiot when I got on the train this morning.

I've knocked on death's door.....no one answered.....I don't complain much anymore.

Me.

My dad used to tell me I could take his 55 Chevy Nomad for a week out west when Hell froze over. I think I've got a pretty good case for collecting on that promise...:great:

"Brrr.............only a high of -19C here."

Negative degree weather? Thats nothing compared to the coldest day in awhile down here in Florida, which was 50 degrees

Wash, DC had -11 wind chill this morning. However its nothing compared to Canada and North Dakota. We will have a heat wave over the weekend where the weather  tumprature will be 53 degrees.

Note: I know its temperature, however where my mother had lived in Central Leather Stocking NY it was pronounced tumprature. Local dialect.
