Official WoT wiki editor, will help with all 3 games. Low battle count, I know, but I've been around since beta and WoT is taking most of my gaming time at the moment.

I'd like to help please. I've been actively editing on the English Wikipedia since November 2006 (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Contributions/Wolcott&dir=prev&target=Wolcott). Formerly edited on the WoT wiki from September 2012 to November 2013 (http://wiki.worldoftanks.com/index.php?title=Special:Contributions&dir=prev&target=Wolcott).

I mostly corrected typos and grammar which were widespread on the WoT wiki. Pros & cons were my interest as well, though I try to keep the points short and to the point. Always wanted to upload some pictures for the historical gallery.

I am willing to do the following guides:

12+ ways of bomb killing

Rocket Killing for n00bs

Effective Dogfighting & Ordnance Use

Effective Counter BnZ Maneuvers

How to Avoid Pubbing Out

Edit: I have been doing these guides already on the WoWP forum for quite some time. I haven't ever edited Wikipedia, but I'm sure it's basic HTML editing.

i would be willing to help, i have never worked on a wiki for games. I do alot of similar duties for my job and i see it being a pretty easy transfer:

attention to detail and ease of comprehension are what i consider to be the most important factors !

I've been ironing out some stuff in the old wiki, so why not? Yes, my info is old since I wasn't able to log in here for quite a while (goddamn internet problems), but I could lend a helping hand in correcting the following:

- Typos

- Some historical inaccuracies

- Sky whales

- Weapon damage per hit specs (standard only)

- Photo hunting

- Cookies for the hungrier wiki devs.

- General "how to play better" guides

- Allowing the use of my documentary inside the wiki (I consider all copy-pasting of my documentary as direct plagiarism)

- Humor if needed

- Did I say sky whales yet? Oh wait, yes.

Yeah, stuff like that. If you want my resume, I've been playing in CBT A LOT (from 3.1 all the way to pre-4.0). Played 500 battles in OBT. Can't play right now. My posts give out pretty necessary info with a blunt feeling in order to educate the population, plus can be funny.

tl;dr: OH OH, PICK ME GUISE I WANNA EDIT!

I'm more than willing to help out with the wiki.

Why? I want to make an effort to be as much help in the community as much as possible.

Being somewhat raised near a lot of planes, I do like learning a lot about them.... I do have access to some WW2 era planes through museums, and plenty of text books in regards to them.

Hi, I'm CrashTailspin.  I'm kind of a novice to World of Warplanes and this whole concept of flying.  Here is my experience:

WARGAMING.NET

World of Tanks Closed Beta Tester (don't remember when, but when I started, there were only two nations, mediums went to Tier 8, and artillery to Tier 5)

World of Warplanes Closed Alpha Tester (October 2011)

World of Warplanes US Flight Coordinator (March 2012 - game release)  see Who is Flight Coordinator for info on what a Flight Coordinator is.  I ran Tier-Specific Alpha Testing events and organized Alpha Testing Focus Topics.  Data was compiled, analyzed, and submitted directly to WoWP Developers in Minsk.

FLIGHT-RELATED EXPERIENCE

Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics, Commercial Aviation major (Magna Cum Laude graduate)

FAA Airline Transport Pilot, DHC-8 (DeHavilland Dash 8) Type Rating

FAA Certified Flight Instructor (Airplane Single-Engine, Airplane Multi-Engine, Instrument - Airplane)

7,000+ flight hours

Thorough knowledge in aerodynamics, aircraft systems, aerobatics, and aircraft &aviation history

I think I could do a good job because I like planes!

Is this good?  Do I qualify??

Sorry Crash, we are looking for people with experience, or at least a tiny bit of experience with either our games or with real flying, neither of which you have. Better luck next time bro.

Ouch!

(j/k, i doubt you need that much)

Also I would like to help out a bit, I have played WOT since a few months after release and was a alpha tester for wowp. I enjoy and love the game, even though i may sound rude with my suggestions/idea's, I only give them so that the game and its community improves!

I can help, but where am I needed?  Alex is doing this kind of stuff and I'm doing the same old thing with planes as I have with tanks.

For experience, I played much of Tanks and Planes for quite some time.  I've also won some crazy battles that would explain Pool's and Grovet's Medals along with the high win rate.  I pretty much like to use unique methods that would use the enemy's strength to their own disadvantage.
