Aircraft available as of 1.6.3

Tier III Blohm und Voss Ha 137 V-1 Full price 825 Gold

A second new premium German Attack Aircraft comes to WOWP, as an earlier variant to the existing Blohm und Voss Ha 137. A little stronger, slightly faster but somewhat less maneuverable then it's predecessor.

Pros:

  • Above average firepower compared to other Attack Aircraft of the same tier (rated at 102, along with the first Ha 137. Kochyerigin BSh-1 rated at 59, TSh-3 rated at 99, with optimal upgrades).
  • Surprising level of airspeed, dive speed, rate of climb and maneuverability for an Attack Aircraft (and, 2 km/h faster average airspeed, including at sea level and optimal altitude over the original Ha 137).
  • Optional SC-50 bombs.

Cons:

  • Weak boost.
  • No rear gunner.

The mounted 7.92 mm MG-17 (1934) (S) are shared with Focke-Wulf Fw 56 Stosser and Blohm und Voss Ha 137. The mounted 20 mm MG-FF (W) is shared with the Blohm und Voss Ha 137 and Arado Ar 197. The optional SC-50 bombs are shared with Blohm und Voss Ha 137 and Arado Ar 197.

Unfortunately no; that mission was around during the Christmas-New Years holiday cycle.  It presented three missions you had to complete in game each day; some of these missions were kill counts of five versus certain classes of aircraft, others were achievements via the "Snowball Fight" battle mode against Flying Saucer bots.

Basically the Do.17Z-7 Kauz was the Christmas reward plane for 2014; I would expect that it may become available for purchase as part of a larger package bundled with premium time and gold.  If so, I highly recommend it.  It is quite a strong aircraft for tier III as you saw in my video of it in battle.

I'm still hoping for its big steroid using brother, the Do.217Z, to come in as a tier V premium heavy fighter along with its four 20mm cannons and four 7.92mm MGs.

Yes, the 217 is huge compared to the 17.

But you thinking 217N or 217J.  Never was a 217Z

Actually the 215B-5 with 4x RCM and 2x 20mm will be great too (hope WoWP gets it right, a lot of books are wrong about armament placement.

Two new entries for you, Q!

First, the Heinkel HD-37, aka the TsKB I-7

Next, the Seversky 2PA-L

I have included stats with both shots as not everyone on NA has the I-7, and no one here has the 2PA yet.

Excellent and with that, I will hand over all future updates concerning premium aircraft to MagusGerhardt. Due to real life projects that are coming up, very soon, I am sure this thread and continuing content will be left in good hands.

Thank you all who took the time to read through this thread and if you found any of the information presented here to be useful, then it's main goal has been achieved.

Stupid question but did they already release the I-7? I had been away form the game but reading the website waiting for a new Gift/freemium plane and never saw one be released. You said that alot of people already have it though which leads me to believe I missed it... if so dangit. At least I still have the XP-31 and Hawk III :).

The (not so) amazing Chokai is back! And he's hit all his personal goals sans one! Seriously though, nice to be back, looks like he game is improving. I continue to try to recruit new people.

In the same boat. Even if I spend most of my time in Tanks, and now Ships, I still follow the forums pretty much daily and come back for specials. (Unless there's an even bigger one in those games, which is my I sadly missed out on the Do. 17.) Never saw anything about these planes.

I hope I haven't permanently missed out on the 2PA-L, it was an amazing plane in beta.

You have not missed out on it yet; the 2PA that is pictured above was earned on the RU server.  It has not been offered here yet.  Keep your eyes open and your ear to the ground for news on it!

that sucks. I would love to have the P-40 collection in my hanger.
