I usually record my videos using Fraps, but it is a major drag on my framerate (60-70% reduction in framerate). So, I usually end up having to reduce my graphic settings to medium, then record video. Here is a straight gameplay video recorded using Nvidia's new ShadowPlay feature with graphics settings on High. You can see that I maintain a good framerate throughout the battle.

I haven't tried it yet, but I've heard good things about it.

Are you manually recording or using the shadow option?

I am using the Manual recording option (ALT-F9) to start and stop the recording.

Shadowplay rocks. No FPS loss at all and the recording quality is excellent. I have mine set to Shadow in 9 minute increments. If something worth capturing happens in a battle I just save it after the battle is over. The hardest part is reviewing and editing all the video I have captured.

Shadowplay is just as good as Razer Game Booster. It's fun.

Bitter, where did you download that?  I g00gled it, but came up with nothing but beta news.  Couldn't find it on NVidia's site either.  Nice vid man, crystal clear!

I just went to the GeForce website, let it detect my card, and installed everything. The piece of software that contains ShadowPlay is called the GeForce Experience.
