We show you how to perform the Wingover, a very useful turning move.

Is there ever going to be a joystick training class? It seems everything is biased toward mouse players. If not officially, can joystick players submit some videos for joystick training that WG'ing will post as a news article in the same way?

Not for me, it isn't. I had some good ones posted previously. I can dig a few up, and even make some new ones.

Does joystick really *need* a training class?

Most of everything joystick users need to know, can be done by reading Stick And Rudder (recommend as a must-read for any kind of pilot).

Personally, I think it's harder to learn how to replicate real flight control functions with a mouse & keyboard, than it is to simply use a joystick/throttle/rudder assembly that mimic flight controls nearly perfectly. Once you know what controls what (and how each control truely affects a plane during flight), it's all pretty intuitive on the maneuvering side of things.

Knowing how to maneuver and AIM using a realistic control setup, on the other hand...I could see a class on that being useful.

While it does require a bit of time to download and install, a game / sim called Microsoft Flight provides some basic instruction on flight control and maneuvering. You even get to take off and land.
