One of the biggest life savers in aerial combat is good old-fashioned teamwork. We continue our Flight Academy focus on sticking together in battle.

Agree. Teamwork will all a team to win most contests. Watch the radar screen and the pop-up map as often as possible.  Thanks for the tips

Sadly, even after telling my team multiple times before a battle to protect the bombers......they still just leave them by themselves. I can't count the number of times I had to turn around in my bomber because I had no fighter escort. I hope people read this guide and learn from it, I am getting tired of having to drop my bombs in the middle of nowhere just to try to survive.

maybe its because ppl use HF to fight planes. HFs have high speed and firepower good for Boom and Zoom tactics. If u have bombs take altitude then drop fast your bombs then you speed to the nearest fight to help your teammates.

I i am mistaken and you were mentionning GAs then (IMO) i stay at my altitude, lay back let the fight start a bit then you would prolly be able to get to your destination without beeing noticed. You can be lucky and get some kills on the way.

I feel that the people who play for teamwork and the people who play for just getting kills should be separated. It's frustrating sometimes. I think bombers should have some of these.

TEAMWORK?:sceptic:

What's that?

I have stopped using GA aircraft for GA, as GA is BROKEN.

You get less points for more hassle than the other planes do, and no support ("teamwork") from idiot LIGHT fighter pilots who are too busy attacking ground targets instead of FIGHTING FIGHTERS. It's so NOT fun to watch faster planes eat all the ground targets up before you can even get there (if you can get thru in the first place due to the lack of fighter support).

At the moment, I get better results (more points) using GA planes as FIGHTERS than as GA.

Grind the GA line?

Forget it.  As things stand now, I'll just fly my BSh-1 as a fighter and steal the kills from the fightards (not all fighter pilots are fightards, just the ones who GA in light fighters without good reason...such as a needed reset).

Turnabout is fair play after all.

And there is your "teamwork".

I enjoy flying my bomber, I really do. When the 'team' is together and understands the play, I do really great bombing and then helping out the fighters.

On the other hand, lately when I play, the game starts and I watch the other players on my mini map slowly turn around and leave. I am dead within 2 minutes; many times without even dropping a single bomb. Oh, yeah, and then we lose.

I get tired of players who think of themselves as 'pros' who at the start of every game ask YOU if YOU have read this article on teamwork!! AND then ask if tou are going to destroy something this time?!!

Really???

They insult you and are not even smart enough to know that it is THEY who are wrong. When a bomber is swarmed by between 4 and 7 enemy planes he loses every time. And as that happens you can see your teammates on the other side of the mini map flying around in circles at 10 thousand feet. That's not a team. But I will keep trying regardless.
