And here's a shot of the "default" paintjob the Fw.56 came with back in Beta prior to the implementation of the paintroom feature.

Yes, indeed I own a Stosser. As does my youngest son that plays. So that's 2 more.
Would the Ar197 be considered a Cessna?
It'd definitely have to be a 172 or 180, or something, instead of a 152, but still...?

Well, let's see what the group comes up with here. The Arado 197; Aye or nay?
Edit: As an aside, StbsFldwbl Hahm there went on to be Hauptmann (Captain) Hahm with five crew skills. When live hit I was surprised to see that Captain is the rank given with the fourth skill.

Here is a nice picture for the Clubhouse wall (courtesy of Wargaming).
I almost feel bad for the Type 91................................almost.
That looks suspiciously like your Goshawk there, Quesnel!
Have you been doing photoshoots without posting a flightplan in the clubhouse again?

Love the parade camo on the Fw.56, though it does clash with the red/white/black jagged lightning nose paint I have on mine currently. I replaced my desert camo with the parade job because I was not too fond of that particular scheme.
And I believe that the Fw.159 would make a great plane to admit to the ranks here; I've flown it, it's terrifyingly good at the same basic style as the little 56, but has SO MUCH firepower to go along with it. I punched so many gas tanks tonight with that 20mm and then set them on fire with incendiaries from my twin 7.92s. Like the 56 this thing turns like a UFO making it very easy to keep those guns on target.
Lacking a real life nickname, I dub thee the "KönigStösser".
Yes, I know enough German to know how silly that is, seeing as KönigTiger is German for Bengal Tiger, not King Tiger as the literal translation would lead. But given the relation and differences between the Tiger I and Tiger VIB tanks I thought it a good name.
My only suggested proviso for Fw.159 pilot membership in "Da Club" would be they must give us a screenshot of their Fw.159 with paint and art and no less than 3 air kill marks on the tail to demonstrate their dedication to the plane.

What I don't get is why it didn't keep the plane in my hanger(never sold it, ever). I had been here since CB started (actually was here in the last stages of Alpha) but the FW56 never stayed in my Hanger.....

Ah, I can answer your question.
The Focke-Wulf 56 Stosser was not a plane that carried over from Beta to Live Release, unlike the F2A-1 if you had purchased it during Open Beta.
The Fw.56 was granted only to players who obtained a promotional code from the pre-release events in Europe. There were no corresponding events here in the States, so the plane is quite rare over here. Furthermore the codes from these events are now expired, so there is no current way to obtain the aircraft. I have seen that people without scruples are still occasionally trying to sell codes.
DO NOT GO AFTER ANY OF THESE OFFERS.
If we're lucky a future WGNA promotion may offer the Fw.56, F11-C and I-5shKas tier II premiums for our area exclusively.
