And there was much rejoicing!

It's a pricey package, pilots, but the Stosser is very much worth it!

It comes with 14,000 gold and a week of premium time!

I thought this thread might have some life tonight.

I haven't decided if it's worth $60 to me yet.  Talk me into it guys!

Just got it (back, as I had one in closed beta), and it's still as fun as I remember it, all those months ago.  Here's a pic, so count me in!

600 Michigan pop cans. Less than 2 a day for a year. It's really a joy to fly.

If the Cessna of Doom can't sell itself to you, I don't know what I can say that would convince you.

Remember the German captured French Hotchkiss H38 tier two "hight" (light that plays like a heavy) in World of Tanks?  This is that kind of a situation.  This plane turns like a Type 91 IJN fighter and carries half the guns of an Ao.192 heavy fighter.  Icing on the cake is it looks badass, stilt landing gear and all.  The Cessna of Doom also has some of the best camo paint schemes and noseart in tier II and the parade camo testers can use on it is really nice looking as well if you like free paint with no stats attached.

Just added you to the roster; be sure to join the "Stosser Rotary Club" in-hangar chat channel!

I will be leaving my own Stosser parked this month while I pursue early access to a Kawasaki model 88 fighter and the XP-50 Skyrocket, but once the May Madness has passed I'll be back in the Deustche Goshawk in no time!

I will get some pictures of my Doom Cessna later tonight, first game in it was a bust with the opposing forces playing a very very smart game. But, that is just one game. Doom Cessna shall fly again!

Who else has a Stosser now?

I know it's more than have posted here; perhaps I should cross link this thread with the Fw.56 Stosser PayPal package announcement thread?

I have one now, his name is Hummel, and he just loves to share his "sting" with others.

This is him in his "Desert Uniform" fresh from a fracas over Dumas Walker Lake.  He had a rather busy time there.

Nice work! Harvested some 2x tonight, with a victory in the Stosser right off. TSh-2 had to struggle.

I'm rocking my new Stosser! Never gave it much though (only one air marker) in CBT/OBT.

Welcome, Rocket! I have trained my Stosser pilot to 66% or so on the first skill. Slow going, but I am interested in seeing what the next skill adds.

How come I don't see a group or club for the iconic Spitfires or the P-51 mustangs? What's up with that.

Because no one has made one yet.

Stosser Rotary started out as a collection of Fw.56 pilots, but we have expanded the rolls a bit to include all parasol planes, like the Fw.159 and IJN Type 91.  The club may expand further to include other rare aircraft, but the membership at the moment wants to keep it limited to early high-wing monoplanes.

I started the club before I became a Community Ace, so this project has no official endorsement by WGNA; there is nothing keeping anyone from making aircraft enthusiast clubs to celebrate particular designs.  Have you considered starting your own project?

I neither have the time nor the commitment to start one. But you have a good thing going here. Hopefully in the future someone will make a group for the iconic planes. Have fun!
