Well, after 40 battles today, I have seen absolutely NO Japanese planes.

Looks like word got out they can't compete with the BnZ crowd, and nobody is taking the bait.. I feel bad, as the Zero looks so amazing, and seems fun.. It just doesn't measure up in my opinion..  I really hope they buff them, HP is so important in this game, and these Japanese planes have way way too little.

I saw a few of them throughout the day.  I'd say most of my battles had at least one or two.  Heck, I shot an A5M who was harassing a friendly GA down in my AGO.

Funny. I post this, and immediately the next 3 matches have zeros..

I might go the line.. To hell with it... They look so pretty.

I've seen quite a few, been mostly A4N's and A5M's but then I'm still in T3, seen a single Zero in teh only T3-4 battle I've been in so far.

I could've swore that my first battle was in my Type 91...

And screw BnZ...what use of it when you get spatial disorientation and zoom straight into terrain?

It's not really the HP that's the problem it is the massive difference in performance ceiling the american and german fighters can just stay above the zeroes and if you fly up to their level your performance takes a massive hit (at 2500m a p40 will out turn the A6m2)

low tier where people tend to fight at lower altitudes I never have a problem with such a small HP pool because no one can stay behind you if you fly well.

I for one enjoy the Japanese line planes. So if you have not seen me in one yet its is because oyur not watching or looking at who shot you down.

I still see plenty. BnZ is more prevalent, but there are still a number of people charging down the IJN line. A5Ms and A6M1's are what I've seen so far, since I'm still in III-IV.

It's my third line. Honestly everything has a role, or at least would if people would learn to work as a team rather than give up and go with popular opinion when they keep losing solo. When people complain about this I can only assume they are new or have poor memories, because the current system is far more interesting than the days when everything was a turn fight down at sea level and vertical play was nonexistent. I think there's a relevant Wrath of Khan quote here...

I was in a match where we had several Zeroes and the opposing team had several 109B's

Someone on the opposing team said "We lose because they got all the zeroes".

I asked him if he was being sarcastic but he swore he was serious.

The Zeroes went down pretty quick, the rest of us mopped up the enemy team for the win.

Guy on the other team says "I called it. We lost because we had no zeroes"

I wondered what planet he lived on unless he was really dedicated to the sarcasm.

Strangely, today, my Zero stays on the skies longer than half my team more often than not...for some reason.
