Where do you find this  C:\Users\Insert Your Computer Profile Name Here\AppData\Roaming\Wargaming.net\World
of Warplanes " Folders. I have win 7, I click computer then local disk {C:}  then game folders.  Then it comes up with world of tanks folder and world of war planes folder. I click on warplanes folder and there is nothing in warplane folder as you have stated above. Where am i going wrong here

You are clicking on the games folder. you need to click on your name in the users folder. C/Users/You/appdata/roaming/wargaming/wowp

Also AppData maybe hidden, you need to unhide it, which you can just do a google search for Unhiding folders under your OS.

Dr.Sinister u were right it was hidden. Win7 Go to control panel click, then go to folder options click. Then you will have three choices, General, View and Search. You want to click on view, then you will see a rectangular box named advance settings. Go down the list and you will come to hidden files and unhidden files, you will have two choices. 1. Don't show hidden files  2.Show hidden files, click show hidden files and your good to go

hey DR quick question.  the curves you use for you`re setup,  is that the best tweak you can get?   is it possible that you can fine tune it any better? i`m just wondering.

I would take the original Joystick.xml rename it Joystick.bak.xml then past the new one in that folder.  Just remember though that the Keybinds will have to be redone to what you had before since that xml will either be his keybinds or default.

The curve I am using is the best for me.  It feels the most comfortable and enough for how I fly.  The thing though is that the picture you see is from me modding it via the XML, not with the graph because the graph only allows 8 mappable points where as if you look at mine I have 11 or 12 mappable points.

I am currently testing a newer curve, similar to mine but a bit different.

Dr im willing to try out you're new joystick xml if you are cool with it. My Wife bought me the joystick so I feel obligated that I need to use it. So I'm desperately trying to find new joystick XML so that I actually end up liking it.

Ok, here is the new one I am playing with:

shot_053.jpg shot_055.jpg

Now this xml has only the curve, you will have to remap all your keys, since I used the default xml to pass this curve along.

Attached File   joystick.xml   32.59K

I guess slowing down getting behind them will probably give you a better chance with the aim correct? This XML worth a lot better doctor thank you I just need to keep in mind to slow down when I get behind them I have a tendency to stay full speed when I get behind them

It depends on the plane you are flying.  If you have a turn and burn, yes have to manage throttle to not over shoot.  But if in a Boom and Zoom, stay full throttle, shoot at them, do not follow and zoom past and climb back up and get setup up for another pass.

I would suspect its the same as Win 7 but I am unsure since I am not running Win 8 yet.  But from what I see from Win 8 because of my job, it seems the folders are still the same.

The planes with Very High roll rate, you just have to get use to.

Did you already copy or cut the joystick.xml file?  You have to do that before you can paste it.  Also make sure that you haven't selected/clicked on a file in the World of Warplanes folder, right click in an empty area (where there is no text).  If you're still not getting the paste option you can try pressing Ctrl and V at the same time (keyboard shortcut for paste).

Not sure if this matters, but are you on an account/profile with administrator privileges?  If you aren't try switching to an account with administrator privileges and see if that helps.
