WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...
I am deaf, silent, and fly with unrealistic controls. Do not count on me to carry - my back's already broken from overweight.

Nah, there'll likely be a ton of these around in the first week or two.
So many testers have one, and it's a premium, and it's such wicked fun.
I'm gonna hook up to the 110B and boom and zoom these all day long.

That's what make painting the DM-2 actually worth it...
While battle performance remain more or less the same or even better, cutting that 15th anniversary decal away is just...madness.

It is a brilliant little plane, and I have stacks of aces with it. I used to wonder at the strange tanks in WOT that beta testers had...now they will do the same with this beast.

It is a very cool plane! I love how it looks, and how it flies (even though I'm horribad in WoWP). If I could compare it to a tank in WoT, I'd compare it to the M3 Light (The M3 Stuart Lend-Lease Russian version). It's fun to go to battle with that thing.
The ramjets just look... simply awesome.

I think its firepower is anything but underpowered. This plane rocks.

Personally I think it stinks that the beta testers who already have a huge advantage in skill also get a gift plane that is better than anything a newcomer can buy? There is nothing right about that they already have the advantage in skill now you are going to give them super planes too? Whats wrong with this picture? Seriously? I can tell you there is nothing right about it, it is flat wrong. To make this game fair to everyone the playing field should at least be level when it comes to planes availiable in the game.
Giving super planes to experienced beta testers is unfair, to every paying customer. If the beta testers can't survive in a game full of noobs then they deserve to die. If they can't win with their overwhelming flight experience then so be it. Let them work on their flying skills like everyone one else, don't give them Bazookas and everyone else a pistol. This whole thing stinks! If you want to give them a gift then give them some free gold or something for their help, but don't punish the whole Warplane gaming comunity by giving them a permanent unfair advantage over every paying customer. Am I the only one that can see right from wrong here? (It's called cheating.) In my opinion anyone who argues to keep a permanent unfair advantage like this must not have much faith in their own flying skills so I don't blame you for getting upset at me for pointing out the big pink elephant in the living room. After all everyone likes cheaters right?
P.S. Unless you are not one. Remember, just because you were given the right to cheat does not make it right. Whenever I see someone flying a gift plane I know I am up against a known cheater so who cares if I get shot down by a cheater? It doesn't even count, it only counts if the playing field it level.

You can't be serious?
Just buy an Ar-80, Hawk or FW-57 and BnZ those silly little biplanes out of the sky like the baby seals they are.

Mizer67,
Are you trying to tell me an Ar-80 Hawk or a FW-57 can out turn a 1-15biz DM? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

They can out speed and out climb the I-15 DM, taking full control of when and how the engagement happens.. as well as put bigger hurt on target.

Yes, I'm very sure that Me 210 is supremely OP to the point of cheating while the even better Bf 110E is there with much more firepower. And I'm very sure the Fw 56 is inhumanely OP as well and totally cannot be beaten easily by an Ar 68 or an I-15. And I'm very sure the I-15 DM-2 is totally OP with the Fw 57 and F3F prowling.
May I ask you to actually know what you're talking about before you spout out inane comments like this?

BnZ = Boom n' Zoom. Climb and then dive on nearly defensless hovering targets that are biplanes.
Rather than ranting how a biplane that can out turn you, how about not playing right to their strengths? You'll quickly learn speed & climb rate > manuverability.
