ok i dont know who picked 3 for the flight size but they need to fired
ACM 101 Lead + wing
flights need to be able to have 4 people in them

also matches need to be smaller or the maps bigger
10v10 or 16v16 with bigger maps

Well, a 4 person flight with a group of good pilots would make them pretty OP. Even now, with three good people, you can get a 95% or higher win/loss.

The IJN and IJA used three-plane flights as the norm during WWII; the RA and Finnish Air Force also used three-plane formations from time-to-time.

In a PUG no, but I will help clear tails if I am in range and if I am not being chased myself.

Flights are to help reduce this but, if you get into a flight but do use some type of communication to help coordinate then its no better then a unflighted PUG but with easier visual reference of who is in your flight.

A flight of 4 is way to nonsense, 3 fairly skilled pilots in a game can down a whole team as it is

Unfortunately, this is very true.  Most people play these games only for themselves.

Toggle, Zapperguy, and I pubbed together in a series of flights, and thanks to those two, I would say we were pretty close to that 95% win rate.

As for the 10v10 or 16v16, I don't think this needs to be tweaked at all.   There is more than enough space on these maps for the 15v15 that we have.  Heck, sometimes I think we have too much space, when I am trying to race across the map to help someone in their 5 v 1 predicament they are in.
