Hello Test Pilots.

My name is Mugsy_ and I am the Community Manager for World of Warplanes.
You will also meet and get to know Hathore who is our WoWP Community Coordinator.

We're here to help resolve any problems that come up, listen to your feedback and input, advocate on your behalf within Wargaming, organize community events or contests, and generally do whatever it takes to foster and support the growth of a constructive, creative, helpful, positive community.

I just downloaded the client and I am attempting to install updates; however, it says critical error unable to download updates via HTTP... any advice?

RE the update error - I used the troubleshooter and checking for flash - adobe version and java version was suggested.

After an upgrade of java everything ran fine.

Does it really take over an hour to download the updates to get started or do I just have a crappy isp? I'm serious. Is that normal? I've been meaning to switch providers cause AT&T advertises speeds of up to bla bla bla but it slows way down after you pay your first bill and gets slower every month thereafter.

The bandwidth on your end will dictate how long the download will take.

I'm downloading as well 20 min in and about half way, Looks very cool...time to breakout the joystick

hello mugsy its nice to meet you, i have written my first post and have gotten some replies  most are critical of my grammer and my thoughts about the game , i do play wot and warthunder ,when my son told me that they were going to put out wowp and it was by wot i was excited to play (still am ) so far its its not bad i,m sure as they get thier act together  it will improve and just get better i hope it gets as good as wot gota go play and thanks for your effort hardcase !

Takes me an hour or two to download at DSL "3.0." I had a few problems with applying the updates. I deleted the game, and reinstalled without issue. Welcome to the game! Wulf

Well Mugsy this is my first day on this free game and it is not going very well at all.  Seems I get bumped off (disconnected) before I get 30 seconds  into a mission, and this is over and over again for hours.   I have a fairly good pc and charter hi speed internet, using a direct cable  interface  so that's not my problem. If this continues I will definately drop this test.  Looks like it could be fun though.
