small few graphics glitches still occuring  on port.   otherwise  very fun maps,  El hallulf there is some heavy fps drops.

When I first started playing I noticed that there was heavy lag on some of the maps but as I got further in the game It stopped.

Plateau and Asian Border are so cool I would like to see more dynamic landscapes in the lower tier maps. Unless the game plan is to put the best maps at top tiers and funnel flyers ever upwards. Tossing out National Park completeley would be fine by me, my least favorite for sure.

Often times when a GT pops up on my target window, it is floating in mid air, as the ground beneath it is not rendering.

I know I, and many others, would like some more maps, including some cityscapes.  Particularly we have seen Berlin and London discussed frequently.

Discussed elsewhere in the past, but just to be sure and capture it again, with the new forum layout...
We know the upper tiers could not function on the smaller, lower tier maps, but there is no reason that the lower tiers could not play on the upper tier maps.

Does that make for a bad map though or just a more challenging one? There is still the mini map....

I think I am flying on a different National Park, because I don't have this problem at all.  I actually rather like it.

Low to mid tier full city map.

Paris in the early-mid stages of World War II would be neat.
Tank convoys, forward command posts, and AA emplacements; all of which scattered across the city and between buildings for the early monoplanes and late biplanes to navigate.

Here's a question:

I just noticed that 4 of the maps have uneven team groupings of ground targets.
I know that in the higher tiers it's rare, extremely rare, to see every ground target destroyed, but why would there need to be a target number difference on any map?

Take Plateau.
If Superiority is counted both from planes and ground targets, and every ground target does get destroyed, the south team would need to kill 5 more planes just to keep superiority difference at 0.

I had not noticed this, but if true, this is bad juju.  GT's should be equal on every map.

I only noticed while making a revision to my comparison post so that new players could see how maps changed as tiers changed.

Plateau has a 5 target difference, Asia has a 4 target difference, Bay has a 2 target difference, and National Park has a 1 target difference.

And I agree, GTs should be equal on every map.  Otherwise superiority starting at 0 would be a misnomer and incorrect since 1 side of the battlefield has some starting "theoritical" advantage.

I will have to pay attention to this.  I agree, there should be no superiority the second a battle begins.

It's not starting superiority at the start thankfully.
It's just a numeric disadvantage that isn't being factored.
All it really means is that the team with that disadvantage needs to be "theoretically" that much more effective at killing either planes or GTs to at least even the odds.

I am guessing that this gets into the point values of GT's towards the superiority meter then?

I wish.
every GT other than the HQ is worth only 1
and the HQ is worth 3.
And since every plane kill adds 1 to superiority as well, that's why you can end up with 29+ vs 17 superiority meters in even the lower tier maps.

I need to stress that the target difference is only theoretical.  With 20+ targets on either side, it's very rare to ever see them all destroyed.
