So tomorrow starts the Get Airborne! event and I'm just wondering - how in the heavens do I play!? I've noticed it's still in CBT, why did they even post the event on World of Tanks homepage if you need to go thru the whole CBT registration process which will probably take longer than the event will last for?

halp, can't find any info about it.

So your going to play this game just so you can get gold? The purpose of CBT testing is to test the game to remove bugs and make it better in the future. You should have registered a long time ago because it will take you at least probably a month or 2 months or 3 months to get accepted. If you're lucky, it should only take you 1 day or a week.

They made such an event, didn't even post it on WoWP homepage and only in WoT homepage. What do you think was their intention for that? Logically I'll play it more, but they made an event with the intention to bring more players here, I am quite sure of that and it makes sense, doesn't it?

It's just motivation to get started on this game.

WG probably wants as many people as possible online to play with the press and civilians this week for E3.  They don't want long queue times during E3.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are fast tracking WoT players' accounts.

Also the Closed Beta registration is an Automated acceptance now, should get your invite in 24-48 hours after you submitted the application.

I was accepted the day after I applied to CBT, so it may be speedier lately.

I don't know about it taking 24 or 48 hours.  I applied Thursday night and here it is Sunday, that's more then 48 hours in my book.  Even cleaned off my joystick to try this out.

Same here. Waiting for this isn't fun, nor really making me want to properly test the beta. As, really, who want's to wait possibly months, after signup to play a free game they may/may not like. It would eventually whittle down my interest in the game.

Doubt it - the staffs state that doing that would result in disqualification for the reward.

...although, it's really tough to shoot at anything accurately at 400-500 ping and 30fps...

WoWP makes a great jousting game...especially with the 262 and people busy in furballs...

It is just an unofficial statement by Mugsy on WoT forum, although that is a possibility to take in account for.
